Payson Stadium Cinema — Local services in Payson

I've been going here since the day they opened in May 2000 ♡ I've had some of my absolute, best & most favorite memories from this place! But that's been at least going on 24 years. And, after that long, any business is bound to run into problems. The last few years, I feel like so much has changed, and not always for the better. But, I will always stay loyal and still come watch great movies & have the walk of happiness down my own memory lane 🙃 I just wish the staff didn't have to be so rude the past few years & so often of the time, too. I fully understand putting customers in their place if they deserve it. But, not everyone does. And it's not just me, I've seen them treat others as such also.

But, I'm still so grateful that we have a theater here and that it's been able to stay going this long!!!

I love the small town feeling and the smaller scale seating is descent. Newer theater "close" by are going to force this theater to update in comfort. I have one big issue with the service I recently experience. We came in for the last movies of the night and showed up 10 minutes into the movie "previews still running time" and they would not sell us a ticket. They said they closed their drawer and could not sell me any tickets from the concession counter. Having drove from SF this was a total waste of time of time for me and a list of money for them in both tickets and concessions. They really should not close their ticket windows until the last movie is almost over. They also could have made an exception and charged me for "extra" popcorn and just let me in. it was okay i guess. I went up to the ticket window to pay to get into my movie and the person at the window didn't seem very enthusiastic at all. i tried to make small talk but they just seemed annoyed with me. not to mention the one word i would use to describe this theater is ghetto. the carpet seems dirty and it doesn't seem like they clean very well this could be contributed to the fact that I think they're understaffed. not mention i went to sit down to my movie and there was spilled popcorn everywhere the theater obviously hadn't been cleaned or at least not very well. so the long and short is if you want to see a movie this isn't the place to do it i would head to nephi or a theater a little farther up north because you pay about the same price and get an overall...
