Street Tacos Tarricaso — Restaurant in Payson

We have passed by this little food truck for many years and finally decided to stop for lunch. Good decision, we should have stopped a long time ago.

We tried the tacos al pastor and carne asada. Both very tasty, but I would lean toward the al pastor as a bit better. We also got the quesadilla with carne asada. Excellent tortilla and full of cheese and beef, onions and cilantro. This was a bigger hit than the tacos in all honesty. That's what we decided we'd choose next time.

Excellent salsas as well. The guac and green salsa are mild and a bit tangy. The red is much spicier but also very good on both tacos and quesadillas.

No problem recommending this one, it's a keeper. You won't be disappointed.

About $2 each for the street tacos, and $8 for the quesadilla. Imported Mexican sodas as well, Coke, Squirt,...

Nothing even comes close. These are by far the BEST no-frills street tacos in Utah if not the western US. The Campencheno in my opinion is the best taco you can get. $1.50 for quality meat and tons of it. The sauces and topics are fantastic. The pickled onions with diced habaneros is a fantastic taco-topper and makes the flavors all come out. The staff is super nice and the owner is outstanding. We live nearby and he is consistently shutting down and loading up the trailer at 11:00 at night ana back down there at 7:30 setting up. Very dedicated to quality and loyalty to his customers. The owner is incredible. He is totally invested in his business and shows true passion for his craft. I've been searching for a very long time for a good place to have street tacos. At first I was skeptical because of its location but I couldn't be happier with the quality of his food. The insane thing is he's there until about 10 10-30 p.m. having worked in the food business that is a huge commitment to work that late and then get there early the next day.
