One Magnolia Lane — Local services in Peachtree City

One Magnolia Lane is absolutely my favorite gift shop in Peachtree City. I can always find the perfect gift for every special occasion there. I love their shoes, jewelry, and "Peachtree City" gifts. The anonymous "google reviewers' " negative reviews for One Magnolia Lane certainly don't sound like the same place where I've been shopping ever since it opened in Peachtree City. Return policies are clear. I've never had any problem returning or exchanging something. If people don't agree with the policy, they can choose not to buy there. The reviewer admitted they knew the were not abiding by the policy. Small businesses cannot always afford to be as lenient as large companies. I find it very difficult to believe that management would not be receptive to any legitimate concerns. I have bought a gift that was going to someone out of town, and I asked ahead of time if there was a problem, could I bring it back a couple of days late, with no objection! The owner and staff are always accommodating, friendly, knowledgable, and helpful. Nobody has ever treated me like "a criminal!" Employees have always gone the extra mile for me. This past summer, when I lost a snap on ornament from a brand new pair of Lindsay Philips shoes, I called to ask them to hold a new set for me to purchase. I love One Magnolia Lane! A couple of months ago, I started working there, but before then, I always went to One Magnolia Lane for gifts. There is always the perfect gift for everyone I know! There is gifts made in Georgia, Vera Bradley, Brighton, Spartina, Judith March, etc. As for customer service, I knew I would love working here because the girls I interacted with were always so helpful and attentive! And now that I know them better, I would say everyone of us is friendly and just want everyone to find that perfect gift! Many people dislike the return policy, but as a small business it is difficult to have a return policy like Walmart or even Vera Bradley itself. For the holidays, the return policy is extended so that gift recipients can exchange gifts if they choose. There is also complimentary gift wrap to help relieve stress over the holiday. Anyway, I believe that each of us at One Magnolia Lane love to help people find the gifts they want. We always try to be friendly and helpful. Just remember that we are people too! The store was nicely laid out and while shopping the owner was very friendly and talked to me. She told me if I needed anything or not happy with anything, or had questions regarding the doll house I was eyeing at all to call etc. I can’t even describe how friendly she was.

Unfortunately, during the time we were gabbing I grabbed the wrong size on an item. I got home and realized my mistake on the tutu and headband and called the store to make an exchange (still in bag with tags). I did not get an answer for almost a week and was told sorry no exchanges due to Covid. Completely understand stores having policies but I honestly don’t remember seeing signs with this information regarding exchanges and can state with 100% certainty was not made aware at the time of checkout.

Again nice store. I love to shop local and don’t mind spending more to support local business owners but the whole thing left a bad taste...
