I am from PA and ate here while in town visiting family. I tried multiple items on the menu and was obsessed! Their food is phenomenal but with that said, the donuts I do not consider part of their "food". Their donuts are out of this world and I am not even a "donut person" but they are addicting. I'm just saying, all flavors are delicious, but you can't go wrong with a plain glazed donut or three...
As for their drinks... their coffee is soooooooo good. I actually brought home some of their beans and my husband and I loved them so much that when we finished the bag, I had to call them to find out if they could ship to PA. I haven't found any beans that I like as much as these. Their barista even taught us a thing or two about how to make a good cup of coffee.
Now for their shops.. I may have gone on a little shopping spree. I was pregnant at the time so I bought a ton of baby items from different shops and a few shirts and items for myself and my husband. My husband bought me a necklace from one boutique and I even used one of the shops to make my wooden nursery sign for my son. They have such a huge assortment and something for everyone.
I think this goes without being said... check this place out! They are like nowhere you have ever been. Great food and all kinds of shopping for anything you may need while supporting local small...
Read moreI am updating this review from 3 stars to 1 star. I initially rated this business 3 stars b/c my experience wasn't the greatest and I planned on re-visiting so that I could update my review with a higher score. However, after seeing the business' snarky response to my very fair and honest review, I've decided to rate this place what they truly deserve and inform you all of what to expect when shopping here. 1) the baked goods are totally disgusting and overpriced. two cookies, which are over $3 each, are very salty and have a strong buttery aftertaste - it tastes like a butter sandwich. the coffee cake is not cake at all. it's about 2mm of stale dough w/1" of crumb topping. There is no cinnamon swirl or cinnamon flavor and the crumb is VERY hard. The cake is super oily and overall flavorless. The cake is dry as hell and the icing is hard. 2) The merchandise sold here is cheaply made. The soaps and body oils have a 1-week shelf life before they loose their fragrance. The lamps and artwork are super flimsy! One of the bracelets I purchased started fraying after the second wear. 3) The owner is unpalatable. Based on the response that the owner left for my review and based on the slew of negative reviews about the owner, I could never in good conscious support this business ever again. This owner is a dragon toward staff...
Read moreAs I walked into this “donut” shop, the first thing I noticed, distinctively missing, was the smell of donuts. On a Saturday at 9:30 am there should be the smell of fresh made donuts or bakery goods. The place had no smell. My daughter wanted donut holes. I was told that they don’t have donut holes. The machine they use doesn’t make them. Donut holes should be a mandatory item to have at a donut place. My daughter ordered a chocolate covered with sprinkles and I ordered a simple glazed donut. She did not like the chocolate donut. I tasted it. It was not good. The chocolate tasted like plastic or waxy paste. The plain glazed was the most boring tasteless donut I have ever had. I have ate at some amazing donut places like Mary Lee Donuts, Meche’s Heavenly Donuts, Southern Maid Donuts and even Shipley Donuts in Texas. Those places know how to make a excellent donut. None of those chains, unfortunately, are located in Newnan/Peachtree. The owner of this establishment would be best served by visited those REAL donut shops and experience what a good donut should taste like. I also think they should get a proper donut machine that makes...
