Amazing pizza cooked Italian Neapolitan style. I ordered the Bresaola pizza and my wife ordered the Margherita. BOTH were exceptional in flavor and texture. Yes just the two of us ordered two pizzas because we wanted leftovers and glad we did. We sat down inside for dinner and it was served to us in about 15 minutes. We both had salads as well. My wife had the Arugula and I had Amalfi salad. I highly recommend the Amalfi excellent in flavor and is almost a meal by itself.
I would like to explain all the soggy pizza comments because I can tell that customers do not understand this pizza and with my culinary background feel that it’s necessary for future customers to understand. When you order this style of pizza you will no doubt experience the Neapolitan style pizza in all its glory complete with crispy crust and fresh out of the oven taste if you order at restaurant and eat it there. However, and this is a big however, if you order this pizza to go and put it in a pizza box? The steam builds up inside the box and softens the pizza crust and it will get soggy! The steam builds up inside the box and has no where to go and is soaked up by the crust. This type of pizza is meant to be eaten at the restaurant. Even your leftovers slices should you have any, will become soft if you take them home. If you expect this pizza to be crispy if you get it to go you will be disappointed. You would be better off getting a pizza delivered from Domino’s or Papa John’s. So do yourself a favor and go to the restaurant and dine in there. If you’re worried about COVID-19? They have plenty of outdoor seating in front or on the side of the restaurant. I would suggest going around 6:00pm to avoid PTC...
Read moreStop hiring girls working the front who don’t want to work. Stop putting gelato away at 7:30PM when you don’t close until 9PM. Also, please clarify so customers know that all credit card tips go to the company, not the wait staff. Walked in for gelato tonight and the girl working could not have looked more bored and irritated and she couldn’t have moved slower. We ended up leaving because she was taking so long with the people in front of us. P.S. food is amazing, it’s sooooo good. It just sucks that you have to deal with bad customer service to get it.
11/8/2024 Tried again tonight to like this place. Called an order in, but got cut off before I could finish. Called back a couple times and tried to confirm my order but got cut off again. The girl told me the phones were being wonky. Finally drove up there to put my order in and was told it would be about 25 minutes. I went back 30 minutes later and they couldn't find my ticket anywhere. The girl working informed me that my ticket was "a little bit lost". Thankfully, I had my copy of the receipt and they found my pizza, right there waiting with all the others, they just hadn't put my name on it. So they gave me a cold pizza and did not reimburse me or offer any sort of coupon. My husband called back up there after we got the pizza home and they agreed to remake our order. It incredibly frustrating and I just do not understand how businesses manage to stay in business when the staff has no problem-solving or customer...
Read moreWhy this place does not have a higher rating is beyond me but needless to say, onto my review. My family and I reside in Jonesboro and since we are closer to Atlanta than peachtree city, we patronize antico a lot just because of the closer proximity. I found out about Positano through an acquaintance who resides in Fayetteville, who was here on a date night with her hubs. I don’t understand how many of the negative reviews are in comparison to Antico and their prices. This isn’t some cheap-slapped together-give you heartburn type of pizza like Pizza Hut and dominos. This is quality brick oven style Italian pizza. We finally gave this place a chance since we’re in peachtree city more because of soccer season starting for our oldest son. Quality is great, ambiance and cleanliness is to the T, they have a full bar (both liquor and espresso) and also have gelato from our favorite gelato spot in Atlanta, Voga. It’s funny how in such an affluent area like peachtree city, people can be such arsehats. I hope this establishment and their sister store on newnan continue on successfully because this area needs more diversity in food options so that people in the “bubble” don’t have to travel so far out into Atlanta from here. I’ll definitely patronize Positano whenever I’m in the area. Also it’s one of those places that are versatile for date nights, family nights, girls/guys...
