I would not recommend this location to anyone who wishes to shop without feeling judged or discriminated against. Everyone deserves to feel respected while shopping, and sadly, that was not my experience here.
I recently visited this Victoria’s Secret location, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing and uncomfortable experience. From the moment I entered, no one greeted me or offered a friendly welcome — instead, I was stared at as if I didn’t belong, which was unsettling. There was an older white woman at the front folding panties who, without hesitation, interrupted a private conversation between my wife and me — something I found incredibly rude.
While the manager, Tiffany, did offer me a basket (which I appreciated), she and other staff continued to circle the store, creating an atmosphere that felt more like surveillance than customer service. At one point, I looked up and noticed three sales associates standing over me while I was simply shopping for panties. I’m not sure what past experiences this store has had, but the level of scrutiny I felt seemed rooted in racial bias. The entire time, I felt unwelcome and profiled.
The cashier, a Black woman, appeared unfazed — as if this type of behavior was nothing new, which was disheartening. I ultimately decided not to browse the rest of the store because of how uncomfortable I felt, I checked out and Tiffany reappeared again overseeing the cashier … in my opinion to make sure my card went through. Moving forward I will continue to drive 1+hour away to the Cumming...

Read moreI walked out, and I will not return to this location to purchase anything, ever. I was not greeted, and while every other customer was being asked if they could be helped, I struggled finding what I was looking for (mainly because it was very unorganized and nothing was in the bins matching the labels). When I was finally approached and asked if I needed help, I was talked down to after I explained how difficult it is to find something to fit my shape. The employee (I think her name was Pam) talked loudly about my size and shape when I very obviously was whispering because I didn’t want the whole store to hear what I was saying. She embarrassed me, and made me feel like I wasn’t worth helping. When she said, “well, if you hate your body there’s only one thing for you- the bombshell-you’ll either love it or hate it.” She tossed it to me and left me in the dressing room, feeling pretty bummed. I was ready to replace my entire lingerie wardrobe before I walked in. At this point, I didn’t care if I wear what I own now until the threads wear out completely. When I told her I didn’t care for the bra, she rolled her eyes, grabbed it from me and walked away. She never offered any alternative and no one said anything while I walked out of the store (hanging my head, I’m sure). I’m not an under-confident person, but I was certainly less-than sure of myself when I left today. Shame on this management and store for hiring employees who lack empathy and...
