My son and I went here on our Father/Son weekend for some laser tag. The facilities are nice and all of the guns and vests worked as expected. They have the full vests with two sensors on your stomach, two sensors on your chest, one sensor on top of each shoulder and one big sensor on your back. The vests and guns both light up, talk to you, and they have a computer that keeps track of all your stats while playing. They print out the stats at the end of each round and give them to you. The room is a good size with lots of barriers to hide, flank, and take cover. It's lit with black lights and has some lasers drawing patterns on the floors. Some of the walls have holes cut out in them to shoot through, so it keeps you on your toes. After a couple rounds we went to their arcade section to cool off and catch our breaths. The selection of machines is a little lacking, but they had one pool table, one air hockey table, two driving simulators, a couple shooting games, two basketball hoops, and a really cool laser room. The laser room starts with a little fog pumped into the room and when you hit the start button lasers are put all across the room, and you have to sneak through to the end, hit the sensor on the wall and sneak back while being timed, without tripping any of the beams. There are four difficulty settings on how many beams there are and how hard they are to get around. The guy in charge of the arcade told me on expert all the lasers move! We ordered a pizza and drinks and then played a game of bowling on one of their 36 lanes. They had a league playing at that time, but there was still over half their lanes open for the public. The pizzas are all homemade and our stuffed meat lover's was absolutely amazing! All the staff was very friendly and bent over backwards for us. They were a little short staffed, but they were running around making sure everyone was taken care of. While at the arcade the skeeball machine didn't give my son his tickets he earned and one of the token slots wasn't registering the tokens on the shooting game. I notified the guy in charge of the arcade and he got us our tickets promptly, put tape over the bad token slot, gave us our tokens back and gave us a free game. The lady from the concession stand brought our pizza out to us when it was done and even served up our first slices for us. This place was a fun ending to a great Father/Son weekend! We plan on going back for many more laser tag sessions in the future! When we were leaving, I asked my ten year old son if he would want to come back here and he said "I would give them 4 1/2 stars and I can't wait to come back dad!" Personally, I had such a good experience I felt compelled to write a review and I never...
Read moreBy far the worst place to go. I would recommend driving to Peoria or Morton to go bowling. We had a group of 8 with 6 of those being kids 11 and under. We got there around 330 and bowled until 6. Then afterwards we went and played games in the arcade. When we were done in the arcade the kids wanted to cash in their tickets and get something. An adult went to the front counter and asked if someone could come over and help cash in the tickets. The old guy behind the counter said they were all busy and they have a league going so they aren't really worried about getting someone to help us. A different worker got asked and came to help us. The MANAGER came over and said no we're closed during league and can't help you and told the guy who was already helping us to shut it down and be done. We tried speaking with the manager while she was there and she said we have to come back another day to cash in our tickets. We asked for our money back then as we had spent almost $100 there and were being treated like that didn't matter because it's all about making money from the league. We tried asking her why it mattered as money is being spent here and she walked away and proceded to walk away as 1 adult was still trying to talk to her. The guy was trying to finish up what he was doing when the MANAGER came back and told him that if he didn't stop helping SHE was going to fire him. At this point the 2 adults in our group were just done. One went and spoke to the owner who was there at the time. The owner said someone would be able to help us. The guy kept helping us and the owner came over and spoke with him. Don't take your families there as you will be treated like you don't matter if you aren't spending money...
Read moreI come in for league over the last several years and the food and service quality have been on a steady decline. This was the final straw. Overcharged for a single patty burger that I waited an hour and 45 minutes for. Single is like $9 and the double is like $11... I ordered twice basically because they forgot my order then didn't even send it out with the toppings I ordered. I was charged $11 for a single patty the size of McDonald's, no fries. I will not order again and this will likely be my last league as my vintage ball has been left with deep gouges from faulty machines... I come from far to enjoy an evening and time in and time out it's disappointment. I paid $15.41 ($2 tip) for a joke of a burger, a soda and 3 mustard packets. The upside was the kid was nice and...
