I called from out of town asking about a local delivery for a friend - the owner was SUPER! He created a delicious and beautiful box of chocolates with a personalized message and then delivered it FOR FREE to my friend. It totally made her week and it was a real pleasure to deal with someone who cared about his products so much and wasn't out to try to charge you as much as possible. Compared to sending flowers with an expensive delivery charge this was a GREAT DEAL and appreciated much more! I would highly recommend this store! We stopped in to Van Veen Chocolates while wandering around the tow after the Christmas Market. The chocolates are exquisite and are among the best on earth - and this reviewer has been in 47 of the 50 United States and 30 foreign countries. The chocolates melt smoothly in your mouth while heaving that perfect "snap" indicating the tempering was done perfectly. They taste fantastic and are truly among the best chocolates on the planet. Amazing experience I had while shopping online to have some chocolates delivered to a family member as I live far from there. The owner was so sweet and went out of his way, and was able to deliver the gift right on time for her birthday. The presentation of chocolates looked beautiful.
