Tamory Hall — Local services in Pella

Our daughter was married yesterday at Tamory Hall. I cannot express how happy we were with Lynn and her team there! The Hall is absolutely beautiful - vintage. The bridal dressing room was elegant. Lynn seemed to be able produce anything we needed - even down to first aid! She was always accessible. The ceremony and reception were both held at Tamory and the transition was seamless. We live in Urbandale, IA which is about an hour away from Pella. Even with this initial drive, they all made the event so easy - well worth that initial drive! The excellent caterer knew Lynn and had worked with her often. The wedding cupcakes were delivered from across the street. We got our hair styled across the street as well. Our delicious lunch location was on the lower level of the venue - same building. Our beautiful hotel was just a short walk away and the excellent rehearsal dinner was also there. We didn't drive anywhere for anything. As we were told by someone, Pella is a Hallmark town. It really is! The people were all very friendly and we found it so sweet that you need only to act like you want to cross a street and all traffic stops!

Tamory Hall was the venue we didn’t know would bring our dream day to life! My now husband is from Egypt and I am from Puerto Rico. One of the hardest things when planning our wedding was finding a very special location. Traveling and planning a wedding across the ocean was very intimidating so we got very discouraged at first when planning since we wanted to celebrate at a very special and unique location. Little did we know that just about 45 minutes away from us there was a venue that checked every box in our list. From unique, special, SURROUNDED BY TULIPS, wonderful vendors, and the one and only KAYLA; Tamory Hall was everything we needed. Our families traveled from very far away from breathtaking places to a place they will always cherish with their hearts. Everyone loved the wonderful town of Pella and its people along with the Tulips. Lastly, special shoutout to Kayla from bringing our idea to life and for making sure everything ran smoothly and wonderfully. She recommended vendors that provided what we needed and more!! Our son and his wife celebrated their wedding with a dinner and dance reception at Tamory Hall last Saturday, April 5. What a beautiful venue located in a unique and historic building! Many out of state and local guests remarked about what a special venue Tamory is. The reason that the whole event ran so smoothly is because of Kayla and we can't say enough good things about working with her. We all found her to be very customer oriented, professional, responsive, knowledgeable --providing great suggestions; and organized and detail oriented as she prepared and managed the event with our son and his wife and with all of the vendors. Bonus is that she is a lovely person and fun to work with! Our son and wife chose the option of hiring her as a the Day of Coordinator and it turned out to be a great value.
