Best Buy Furniture. I ordered a sofa on line after I saw it was the same one I bought 10 -15 years ago. It’s a great sofa but the chenille was wearing away and it was time to update my living room. I chose to do it in beige and blue. When I went into the store later on the day I ordered it a sales lady said they did not receive my fax. I guessed she was referring to an order that comes as a fax. She had me order again and manipulated the second invoice to show as paid in full. I worried about where it was and what’s on it? They should HAVE to locate it for the customers safety. The sofa is the big piece & ordered it in beige. When the sofa came in we went to get it. The packaging was filthy dirty. My brother’s face, hands and arms were covered in a thick soot. He told me that’s a sign that the sofa sat where it was for a very long time. I said the sales lady told me it just came in from the manufacturer. He said there is no way they would accept this if it came in filthy dirty. He said let’s get home. It was starting to rain harder so we took off. When we started to open the filthy packaging my brother said “STOP! Mary this sofa is black and gray, it’s not beige, we closed it up. I said I would call them and they went home. I called and left a detailed message and asked that someone call me back and tell me how we remedy this. No one called so I called again and asked them again how we remedy this. The black girl said “we don’t, you got what you ordered”. Every time I called no matter who answered the call would tell me that and hang up or leave me on hold. The hang up method was definitely their favorite. I eventually started emailing them and they mostly replied but they never “signed” their emails nor did they I’d themselves when I called. They complained that I didn’t answer an email for six days! I told whomever it was nothing compared to my having to live with a filthy dirty hideous sofa in my living room. It’s been here longer than six days. That’s how it went with them for me. Only two people were nice to me and one is Jose in servicing and I believe the other guy’s name was Jose too. I got a feeling that they knew what these people were trying to pull and they wanted no parts of it. It’s the 15th of November and it’s been here since Oct 28th. I contacted the FTC and reported them for false advertising and deceptive business practices. I then received an email from the BBB to report it on their site as well. The BBB offered to contact them and resolve the problem but I have to wait until VISA and my bank make a decision on it. I don’t contact the business at all anymore. I told them not to contact me again. It’s been hell since I ordered the sofa. Since day one they were lying to me over and over again about a $500.00 sofa. Why don’t they admit they made a mistake and give me my money so I can find another one? I told them over and over I’m not going away until I get a full refund. I wish I could tell you everything that happened but there isn’t enough space. I will never go there again. I am going back to Raymond snd Flanagan. They may be more expensive but they treat you great. You feel like you matter to them. Best Buy Furniture is no place to do business. I caught them in lies every time they opened their mouths. Even the owner was complicit which I thought was wrong. He told me to call the store.?I didn’t reply to him! He should have asked me why I was unhappy and try to fix it. They made SWEEPING changes to all policies so make sure you read them. They are now built to protect their salespeople no you. If I read the policies they have now I never would have gone there. They cut their nose to spite their face. I say...
Read more😔🥺Yes, this Best Buy Furniture store is receiving a 2-Star review from me but would have received a 1-Star review if it hadn’t been for the curling ribbon 😳🙄attached to the furniture for easy opening 🤫🤣. 97% of my Google Maps posts shared with the World are ALWAYS about the “Good/Great/Excellent/Amazing/a MUST Get or Do” stuff and the 3% of my Google Maps posts that makes it to the World is ALWAYS about the “NOT so Good/Great/Excellent/Amazing/a MUST NOT Get or Do” stuff. 🥺🥺This posts falls in the 3% bucket 😔!
NOPE I did NOT buy furniture or anything from Best Buy Furniture nor would I ever based on family members shared experiences, purchased items shown to me and/or sad stories about not receiving an expected deliver as promised😔!
The dresser shown here was purchased as a complete bedroom set by my Daughter for my 6-year-old Grandson Chef RJ. The purchase went as expected, the sales rep was pleasant, the delivery arrived as expected BUT the set-up 😳🤫🤣 DID NOT 😳😱go as expected 🤷🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️😱🤣😂!!
The complete bedroom set was put together correctly until my daughter realized the handles to the dresser drawers were NOT put on correctly 😳🤣🥺🤣. NOT 1, NOT 2 dresser drawers but 6 dresser drawers installed incorrectly 😞😔. WOW!! WOW!! How is this possible 🤔🤔?????
The delivery driver said he couldn’t correct them because once they put something together they cannot take it apart to correct because something might get broken 😳😂🤣. So, I now understand the meaning of if it’s not broken, don’t fix it and if it’s put on incorrectly, don’t correct it because it might get broken 🤦🏽♀️. She called Best Buy Furniture, spoke with the Manager and he apologized, said there was nothing that they could do to correct the problem but would give her 1 free mattress cover for the bed for her troubles.
My Daughter couldn’t and still can’t believe this has happened but has been very patient and give out big LOLs 😂🤣😅😂 every time she looks at the dresser drawers with the ribbons attached to the inside dresser drawer handles to the outside of the drawer for easy opening.
This is most definitely the most OMG 😱, unbelievable, funniest and craziest Google Maps post that I have written. It’s truly NOT funny because the 6-year-old and/or the 1-1/2-year-old get their finger(s) shut inside one or more of these drawers trying to work/play with ribbon(s) just to get inside the drawers then this could be a problem that should have been corrected ASAP before little fingers get hurt/broken. 😕😣 It’s been over a week now and the dresser drawers are still the same. 🥺😤
No I DO NOT recommend this store to my friends, family and, now,...
Read moreAfter reading these reviews, I absolutely dodged a bullet buying anything from this place. I went in originally looking for a couch for my new home. I did find something that I liked but given it was my first stop, I wanted to check out a few other places before I made a decision that would cost several hundred dollars. As I was leaving, I was finishing up with the woman (very nice by the way) who was getting me more information on the couch when I was basically ambushed with one of the owners (assuming). He was EXTREMELY pushy and did not want me to walk out without purchasing this couch, he would not stop even after I told him thank you and tried to leave. I explained to him that I wanted to go to a few more places and most likely I would be back. He gave me a snarky response and told me to go to Ashley Furniture that sold the same couch and I would realize that buying from him would be the better option. I called him later in the day after going to a few other places just to get a final price with tax and etc, the couch went from $399 to an upwards of $600 with tax and his explanation of some bullshit warranty. Saying I have to have it delivered and pay this ridiculous fee in order to get any kind of warranty and a ton of other irrational BS that jacked the price up.
Well AS HE RECOMMENDED I went to Ashley Furniture and bought the couch with them for the price of $399 with warranty and delivery for a total of $450 and got significantly better customer service. Saved well over $100 and probably a ton of headaches. Don't waste your time here. Go to a REAL furniture store where the owners don't harass, con and...
