Inn of the Dove - Cherry Hill — Hotel in Cherry Hill Township

DO NOT BOOK HERE. RUN!!!!!!* ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. I had read the policies and rules to begin with and no where does it say you can't decorate a room to make it more special for your loved ones. I know when the so called "receptionist" read this, he'll know exactly who I am and trust I don't care. I booked the room online to begin with. I get there early so I may be able to request a certain room so I may decorate it for my sister and her husband because he wanted to do an early Valentine's night. I get there, the receptionist starts telling me the Do's and Don'ts of the hotel even after I explained im just there to decorate/cater for my family and I'm not staying the night. Gave me attitude because I kept explaining to him(which I didn't have to because it was a private event) what I needed to do and I would leave the premises. Mind you I live over an hour away and my family lives in over 2 hours so to come out of our way for this type of treatment, never again. As I finish the first part of my decorations, as promised I leave to go get the 2nd round of things I need before they arrived. I get there again to finish setting up but had to run to the office 3x's because the key didn't work. Once my fam had got there, the 2nd issue started because since I was not staying, I had to cancel my reservation and do a whole new one with my family's card information because they had to pay for it. Once we were heading out the office he had to say out loud "please follow the rules or we'll be kicked out". Excuse me!!!! If I hadn't already put in work, we would have asked for a refund and left but they decided to stay. There's only parking for one car per room so I had to park my car elsewhere in close surroundings so I could finish making there night special. By the time I was done, I was so tired and asked to be taken back to my car. Tell me why he was standing outside the office as though he was waiting for us to pass him by. Smh....I ended up sleeping in my car that night because I was so tired to drive back home. Got up early and while my in law was out getting coffee, he ended up picking me up so I can say bye to my sister before we all left home. Was there for not even an hour at first and went to go get my car right after. Again he was outside staring at us drive by like he was waiting. Smh. I got in my car and head back to the hotel because I was going to help clean up from what I had decorated so it wouldn't be so much on them(still being the nice person i am). Who's walking outside as we pulling up? Yup still him. So as I'm picking up the roses and stuff, my sister proceeds to tell me the jacuzzi was trash because there was no hot water, they kept trying at different times thinking it needed to get hot again, nothing. The bed was supposed to be king size, more like a queen, indented, old, and smelled. Overall they kept my deposit of $100 because they claim we did not follow the rules because of my presence on the property which is absolutely ridiculous on top of feeling soooo uncomfortable with the guy who I swear he is the manager, receptionist ,all tittles at this point cuz I never seen no one else but him since I arrived Friday at 2pm until Sat at 11am when they checked out... being outside making me feel like he was watching us the whole time. Save your time and money and go elsewhere. This hotel is for one night stands, hookups, side chickens, and quickies..... not for romantic nights with your deserving loved ones. Go to another hotel and save yourself the aggravation of dealing with an establishment that claims to be great for couples but won't let you do something special for your loved ones. I already canceled the 2 other couples I was going to book there to do the same thing for so your loss. First and last...

My husband and i thought we would try the cherry hill location and i have to say it was a huge disappointment! First ill explain the location sucks mainly bc their sign is so small so if you miss it being in Nj you cant just make a u turn you have to drive all around to get to it . We get to the room check it out really quickly, we shoulve looked a little longer before we went to dinner. You have 15 minutes to request a refund. We came back and wanted to start our night the room is below sub par for how much they charge. We got the pool room with Jacuzzi. The carpet on the steps aroound the Jacuzzi had ants crawling on my feet as soon as i stepped on it. Also ants crawling on the bed blankets. Then i went to use the bathroom sink and i feel water dripping on me so i look and the water is just draining out of the s trap. That would explain the 2 mosquitos i killed near the sinks. The floor is so badly unlevel when you open the fridge make sure your ready to catch everything rolling out . Now the pool we didnt even swim in it bc the water had a layer of oil on top of it and had hair floating all in it. The cusions on the chairs in the pool room look like someone took a poop on them. The over whelming smell of chlorine was too much at times. Im sure they just dumped a buch of shock in it and didnt test the water. I was skeeved out enough so we opted not to swim to make the best of it. We tried to put porn on so it was on it the background and there was no channel guide, no free porn in an adult hotel. Also tried to share it from our phones but could not connected to the tv bc the universal remote they had didnt even work. We got back from dinner around 10 and left at 3:30 am. We have been to Philadelphia and Pittsburgh they were at least cleaner and i didn't feel like i was gonna get something from the water. Suggestions if your going to charge so much for a pool room make sure the main attraction is at least taken better care of. Definitely maintain your rooms better and...

This place is truly a dive. Maybe it used to be nice and maybe some of the other locations are but I have had a horrible experience at this location. The reservation process is antiquated at best. No formal confirmation process except a written piece of paper that is truly left to human error. I made a reservation on Saturday for Monday and I arrive on Monday and the desk clerk tells me I was a no-show for Sunday WTF My flight was leaving Philly on Tuesday which I could prove but he did not care. Since the second shift clerk was NOT on duty he was confident to take her word for it as opposed to mine but here I am standing here. Wow. Well I plan to dispute it. So back to the reason I would not stay besides the lack of customer service.. the room smelled musty truly a motel smell as if it was by the shore point and it is not its MOLD. the toilet leaked and I for one am not going to stay in a room where the toilet is leaking. We tried to give that feedback but the front desk clerk at the time did not care about that either.||||I would not give them any business at all. It is a run down dive and the sign that says you have 15 mintues to review the room and if not satisfied should have been a clue. Well once I told them I was not satisfied in my 15 min window is when they come with the BS of my reservation "mixup". and refused to give me a refund. Its a night spot for those trying to sneak around. IMO. Now I know. If your trying to do something romantic with someone you care about choose someplace else!!!!! I left and went to the Crowne Plaza for the same price. Should I say anything positive - maybe in the room they had a microwave and small refrigerator. two bottles of water and two snack size Pringles chips and it looks like they are renovating so if your into these types of hotels check back with this Cherry Hill location in another 6 months. As of today it sticks! all they way around and I will also put my complaint to the better business bureau. NO customer...
