Total ball drop by multiple locations. On 9/10/25 I began by driving 31 minutes (19 miles) from Burlington NJ to Pennsauken because the website said they have 2 in stock. I got there. NOPE! Not in stock. The manager went on her computer and told me to go to Pennsville. They have 2 in stock. Im a little frustrated at wasting my time & gas money, but OK. I left. Went home to Delaware, thinking I can grab it in the morning on my way to work. I called this morning 9/11/25 to verify its in stock. Thr young lady checked her computer amd said YES. I drove from Smyrna, DE 49 mins (44 miles) to get here and the manager says nope. I sold it 2 weeks ago. Now he sends me to Newark 12 mins (8 Miles). Im heading there now with hopes of finding thr product. But im very displeased by how this was handled. Wasting time and gas for a product I could have ordered from Aamzon, but I Trusted Harbor Freight Tools to correct their inventory levels online. The system only works when its correct. Looking forward to a response from HFT before I copy and paste this on other platforms and make phone...
Read moreA delightful toy store for DIYers, handy-women and men, gadget-folk, home maintenance-lovers, mechanics, would-be mechanics, tool users of any description, the curious, lovers of shiny things, oh, and me! I am so glad I stopped in tonight. If I had not, who knows when I'd get around to asking myself, "Now why DON'T I have my own sextant?" Or, "Should I put together a Whitepaper comparing, and possibly contrasting, the lifespan of decoy home surveillance cameras vs. the real ones?" I was halfway to the car with an armload of shiny new geegaws and widgets before my Whitepaper fantasy concluded with the Nobel Prize for Amazingness being placed on my neck in Stockholm. My next thought came to me- "I'm smiling and whistling a jazzy tune, and haven't felt this good in years. Wow!"
And such is the story of the happy, industrious magic of Harbor Freight Tools. Nine and three quarters thumbs up! Now I have to go see how I've lived this long without my own, properly calibrabrated sextant. Hopefully it's a great night for manual astro-navigation. I'm all set. Thanks...
Read moreOverall I have purchased quite a few tools from harbor freight. Not a bad store when it comes to some tools over the name brands and their prices. The criticism I have is their sales or coupons are never convenient or long enough. If you receive a coupon it's only good for maybe 3 days or less, same as the sales. Also this separation of products to make more money is annoying! If I buy something that requires a battery and a charger, why not sell this all in one? If I buy the tool of course I will need the battery and the charger!! I would really like to see this change over getting money out of the customer for every little item. Can we go back to what makes sense? This would be...
