We are from the Midwest (MKE Wisconsin) visiting Pensacola Florida for our 39th Wedding Anniversary for a few days. We were planning on purchasing an upgraded ring sometime in the near future but had absolutely no intentions on purchasing one while we were in Pensacola, FL. My husband and I first visited the JARED store on Wednesday May 1st 15 minutes to closing. We were wonderfully and professionally greeted by Victoria. We were a good 5 minutes into our visit before she kindly stated our store closes in 10 minutes. Victoria was absolutely amazing with her care, attentiveness and professionalism realizing we had a very short window of time but we didn’t feel “rushed” by the customer service she was delivering. I told her my price range and she showed me a wedding band I absolutely fell in love with instantly . Because of VICTORIA’s demonstration of professionalism and attentive care to me and my husband the night before we returned the following day Thursday May 2nd. We were greeted by Amy and ultimately introduced to Elex. Amy was great and made every effort to be just as helpful. Elex landed the plane and sealed the deal. His customer service was OUTSTANDING. His attentiveness was impeccable. He managed every detail of the sale demonstrating not only his knowledge of the business but his desire to ensure my husband and I had an EXPERIENCED TO BE REMEMBERED. My husband and I were thoroughly impressed with the level of customer service we received from JARED. He went above and beyond in so many different ways during the entire experience to ensure I (we) were 100% completed satisfied Resulting in our purchase of an upgraded ring valued at $6,000.00 JOB WELL DONE TO THE JARED PENSACOLA FLORIDA SALES TEAM. Read moreOrdered a custom engagement ring because they told me it should be done in about six weeks. One saleswoman told me they could "definitely" do it by then. I intended to propose on Valentine's Day based on that plan. But then when the day was drawing close, I decided to call to ask if it was about ready, and they told me it would be two more full weeks at the earliest! So now my engagement plans are shot, and they didn't even bother to tell me they couldn't keep their original estimate until I asked.They were good in all other respects, but they really ruined my ideal engagement. I hate that I trusted them.
EDIT: I went back later to see what options were available to me. I wanted to see if there was a cheaper silver ring I could use until the actual ring was done. The saleswoman I spoke to (not the same one that told me the estimate) offered to let me buy the silver ring for half-off (about $50). Obviously, it still isn't ideal, since I am paying for even more stuff and my girlfriend still will not get the ring on time, but they did try to accommodate me as best they could. Still not great, but they deserve to have their efforts to make good mentioned.
Second EDIT: The ring was supposedly ready on the Wednesday of February, but when I arrived, I noticed that they hadn't engraved the ring, and the staff present said they didn't know I had asked for it to be engraved. I had told one of the salespeople two weeks earlier, Clyde, that I had wanted it engraved, and he had me send an email with the phrase I wanted. But apparently, he went on vacation, and my request was never relayed to the staff who were still here.
Because it was already too late anyway, I told them to take even more time to engrave it like I had asked in the first place. I am currently still...
Read moreSo far, not impressed. My wife and I purchased a Vera Wang ring for over $3000. The sales person was very attentive, up until she closed the sale. As soon as we agreed to purchase the ring, she abruptly turned us over to another associate. On to her next prospective sale! Also, without my permission she added a service contract for $200. When I told the associate I didn't want the contract, I was nearly coerced to add it back to the sale. I didn't. When I got home, I discovered that the paperwork for the ring didn't describe the ring in detail, just the store's SKU. I called the store and requested a more detailed itemization, I was told that I would have to return to the store to get it. They wouldn't email or fax it to me, nor would they agree to mail me the information. They told me they didn't have a way of emailing or faxing it to me. !! Seriously? When I told the associate that if I had to return to the store to get a simple form which should have been included anyway I would be returning the ring. Only then did they agree to mail it to me. I'm still waiting for this to arrive. I plan on returning the ring to the store if I don't get the information I requested soon.
