I was hoping to get my son's gaming computer fixed but no luck. I recently purchased a Cyber Power desktop gaming computer. At the time, it was the only one they had in stock because everyone is looking for them and supplies are low. I wish I would've known that they were made by IBUYPOWER. I might not have purchased. The only reason, I don't like IBUYPOWER computers is they use all different parts in one system. Not like HP,ASUS, CHROMEBOOK or other name brands that their computers are built by the name brand with all name brand parts. Ibuypower uses different name brand parts. The graphics card, mother board, memory are all from different brands. So when things go wrong, your repair can be a little pricey. Plus, they cannot be backed by the manufacturer, if it has a faulty graphics card or some other part. Like HP computers, you have a factory warranty and if you didn't buy insurance, sometimes the name brand has a factory warranty. With IBUYPOWER you can't rely on that with different brand parts. To get it repaired after only owning it for 3 weeks is unacceptable to me. For Best Buy to not have some guarantee over faulty equipment less than 30 days old and costing me over $2,800.00. I would think they would want to keep customers happy, that are buying products this expensive. Then they expect you to purchase a (Geek Squad) membership for 200.00, before they will do any work on it. Lesson learned. Really disappointed in their customer guarantee on products. Make sure, if you do decide to buy computers like Cyber Power or I BUY POWER brands that you know how to personally work on them. Otherwise, you will end up paying out more money to get it repaired. Make sure you ask them about the products and if they have any warranty that comes with it, that you don't have to purchase separately.

This Best Buy Store in Cordova Mall is outstanding on service. Besides the usual expected big ticket items, they have a variety of little accessories. Always ask for what you are looking for, because the employees know their inventory & if they don't have exactly what you are looking for, they will recommend where you might get it. I was looking for a 90° angled Bluetooth receiver (without a pigtail cord) for my old car's stereo line input to the radio. They only had the ones with the pigtail, so they referred me to online shopping & even compared it to Amazon for the best deal. I appreciated that extra service. I also purchased a great mesh network extender (simple to use & affordable) which gives you seemless wifi with no hassles in selecting routers in week spots of your home. Being a retired engineer, I'm an avid online shopper for high tech, but a reasonable cost. I found both at this store. Some sales assistants are not as knowledgeable as others. So don't be afraid to ask for further assistance from someone else who may assist you better.

I’ve been going to Best Buy since 1997. Me and my wife have spent thousands of dollars on TVs sound improvements and stereo equipment. We recently purchased a Garmin GPS Drive Smart 66 for our motor home. It’s a nice store clean bathroom’s but one thing that bothers me is Best Buy not valuing long term customers anymore. Last year they decided there was no need for premier customers? You basically get this rating for loyalty, how long and how much money you have spent over the years. So it’s interesting to me that they don’t value long term loyalty customers. They also don’t do free setup. Luckily we bought 2 60 inch Sony Bravia 5k TVs and Sony sound bars the year before they sent us they were no longer having premiere customers and they did have free setup. That was a lot of money we could have spent anywhere else. They still have great selection of audio tv gaming pc’s and appliances. I will review the Garmin Smart Drive 66 after our trip to South Carolina!

I really hate and I mean hate having to do this but in my 34 years of being alive this is without a doubt 100 percent the worst experience I've ever had when it comes to customer service. I work in customer service and I'm all about having my employees backs but not if they are in the wrong and again I'm sorry I have to do this but these employees earned it. I was returning something and was waiting a really long time 1 person was ahead of me and it was obvious the girl either didn't know what she was doing or just didn't care but she walked close to me and said I'll be with you in 1 second well as soon as she got done with the person ahead of me she started helping people that came after me and so then she comes and says I'll be with you in 1 second again but again helps other people so I tell her that I've been waiting forever and that I was in front of all of those people and instead of saying I'm sorry sir or hey let me call someone to cone help you because there were so many people just standing around including the store manager the girl started yelling and talking nasty to me so of course I started yelling back and when I yell and get mad it can be pretty bad I will admit that but she should have spoke to me like that and so some guy comes over with an attitude and being rude to me and so I said just return my stiff dude well then store manage comes walking over and instead of saying sir what happened what can I do to help or something of nature she come over and starting being rude and condescending but never once asked me what happened and this girls name is trenedy if that's how you spell it. I can't believe that a place like best buy would have someone like her as the store manager I'm not for anyone losing there job but there is no way she is capable of being a store manager best buy has really gone down hill in pensacola and it's sad because I shop there a good bit but I will never job there as long as they have a store manager like her this place is going to lose a lot of buissness due to her they definitely lost a customer today I really hope unfortunately that she is repremended. She definitely needs some customer service training!! Best buy deserves a better person as there store manager someone that will not talk to customers the way she talked to me definitely don't want to see her get fired but I don't think she is store manager material please get someone...

NEGATIVE 100 STAR REVIEW. AWFUL EXPERIENCE. DO NOT LET THEM TOUCH APPLE DEVICES. They are COMPLETELY INCOMPETENT. Bring your iPhone or Mac to Technology for Tomorrow instead. You have been warned. I can't stress this enough. Best Buy and Geek Squad are woefully incompetent.

I brought my iPhone 15 in for a back screen replacement. It was a T-Mobile warranty repair. They punctured the battery while doing that repair and kept the phone for 3 weeks. I was offered an iPhone X 64 gb as a loaner for my $1200 iPhone 15. Needless to say that phone was garbage and I had to remove so many of my essential apps for my day job and second job that it was completely useless, aside from texting and calling. Their incompetence cost me money in my day job.

What's more appalling, is their attitude from the slick haired chubby Geek squad dude to the store "manager". The geek squad guy was smug and he "wasn't about to give me a $1200 loaner phone", despite breaking my very $1200 iPhone 15. The manager was equally useless and not only refused to make it right by giving me a suitable replacement, despite having a store full of phones, he lied and refused to give me the broken phone to take elsewhere, he said it was Apple policy that they couldn't do that. I think they just wanted the repair money at my expense of being without a useable device for 3 weeks.

They flat out lied about being able to release my phone to me. I spent an hour on the phone with Apple. When confronting them with this they still didn't care. I could have taken the broken pieces to Technology for Tomorrow and they would have gotten me an expedited replacement. Funny enough, after 3 weeks of waiting, this is exactly what Best Buy / Geek Squad did.

Their customer service is also garbage. You make an appointment only to show up while they pass you over for anyone else who walks in. Then you wait around for 4 hours for this "30 min repair" only to find out when the girl comes back from lunch "did they tell you? they broke your phone and it's not fixed ". Need I go on??

There were a few nice folks, I encountered a few useful idiots, but when I needed someone to deliver, they failed in every way. I wasted over 20-30 hrs on the phone, driving to/from the store, or waiting in the store, not to mention being without a device for 3 weeks.

Run. Just run away. I will never darken...

Customer Beware: Watch Out for Price Matching at [Best Buy Cordova Mall]

I’ve had good experiences at this Best Buy location in the past, as I've purchased several items there before, so when I needed new peripherals, I thought I’d give them a shot, especially since they offer price matching. I found the items I wanted online, including directly from the manufacturer, but figured I’d make the purchase in-store since Best Buy would match the price, right?

The store itself was clean and organized, and the staff in the back seemed knowledgeable and very helpful, which gave me a good vibe. But when I reached the checkout, things started to go downhill.

The clerk was friendly and even complimented my choice of peripherals. I told him I wanted to price-match, and he confirmed that it was something they do. He checked the manufacturer’s price, but once he saw the price difference, he seemed a little unsure. He kept saying “potential price match” over and over into his radio, which felt a little odd.

A lead/supervisor came over, and comfirmed they do price match, however, after a quick "potential" exchange by the clerk, he said, “Ohh...I don’t think we can do that for this item.” Another employee came over and after he echoed the same thing—no price match on that item; she stated. At this point, I begun seeing what was happening, but I decided not to push it, and thanked them for their time.

As I was leaving, I noticed the clerk putting the items I was looking at under his counter, not back in the cart with the rest of the returns; just an arm-lengths away. That confirmed there was something off about the whole situation. It wasn’t hard to figure out that the staff might be holding onto items they didn’t want to sell, even though they’re supposed to honor store policies.

So, just a heads-up to other "potential" customers—if you’re planning to price-match at this location, be prepared for some resistance, especially if an employee seems to have a personal preference for certain items. Perhaps its potentially an inside thing they're trained to do. It’s disappointing because I was ready to make the purchase, but in the end, I decided to walk away. I’m not sure I’ll be back anytime soon after...
