Update 7/26/2025 Went in here just to look and once again it was HORRIBLE. My daughter needed to go the restroom so we walked over there. She tried to go in the family restroom and there wasnât any toilet paper. She came out and I went in the womenâs bathroom with her. There was absolutely ZERO toilet paper in the entire bathroom. Like not one stall had any. So we came out and I asked my husband if he would go in the menâs and get some for her. He found a very minuscule amount in that stall. So that meant now the menâs was completely out. A couple other women came in, (one with a toddler) and they were like what?!! The one woman just used paper towels. But then there was no soap, and hardly any water pressure so you couldnât even wash your hands. I immediately asked for a manager. I have reported this store to corporate, mainly for the disgusting bathrooms, at least twice in the last 2 years. There is still only one dressing room open on the entire bottom level, and most of the time there is only one register open with the exception of the cosmetic counter. The manager told me that the plumbing issues have been reported to corporate since itâs a water pressure issue with the sinks, but that âtheyâ havenât done anything. She also said âtheyâ wonât allow them enough staff to cover the store. This store should be closed immediately in my opinion. Ever since Covid in 2020, the atmosphere and customer service in there has been horrible. And the hygiene situation in that bathroom is a health risk. My family will not be back.
original review from 2 months ago Would give ZERO stars if I could. I canât believe this location is even still open. Today I took my Mom to shop and spend her gift cards, yet she couldnât spend them because they only accepted Belk credit cards, regular credit cards, or cash due to âa systemâ issue. They couldnât even access Belk rewards. The woman at the register was very rude to my mother. When my Mom would ask a question she would respond in a very sarcastic or annoyed way. For at least the last 2 years, they only have ONE dressing room open on the entire bottom level. Makes you not even want to try clothes on. You have to walk across the entire store just to get a different size if you need it. The dressing room that is open is so full of clothes that people have left in there, you have no room to hang the clothes you want to try on. Clothes are way overpriced for the quality. There is no way some brands cost that much. I think they jack up the regular price on the tags, & then they put them âon saleâ so it looks like youâre getting a good deal. They send coupons galore, yet you can hardly use any of them cause all the sale prices are door busters, and excluded from the coupon. The bathrooms on the bottom floor are disgusting. They smell horrendous, the toilet seats are stained a nasty yellow color, only one sink worked the last time we had to go in there, there is never any soap in the dispensers, and forget about a paper towel. This place is horrible & either needs to have a major remodel along with new staff training on proper customer service, or just close the...
Read moreMy wife went into this location to have her hair colored. She told the stylist (also the Store Manager apparently⌠who was also late showing to her prescheduled appointment) that she needed her hair colored âblondeâ for an important upcoming event. My wife had some coloring correction needed as she had attempted to personally touch up some areas (roots) without success. Being that she had been previously been a satisfied customer at this salon, she returned with the same expectations of receiving a quality service and final product outcome. Unfortunately, $180+ later after the stylist âcoloring specialistâ had to dye her hair not once, but twice in one sitting, my wife told the stylist that she was very concerned that there was still âredâ highlights appearing in her hair and that her hair was not the ânormalâ expected blonde finish that she had initially expected (or had previously experienced) after receiving this same service. Instead of offering to correct the issue for my wife (since she was clearly not happy), she was told that it would cost her an additional $85 dollars for further servicing to get the coloring right and that the âredâ still showing in her hair would most likely continue to lighten with time. This was far from the truth, the stylist clearly messed up! That night she came home very upset and I took multiple pictures as I was shocked to see my wifeâs hair looking so terrible, especially after finding out that she had spent over $180 for just a coloring job (that didnât even look right the second I saw her step into the house). Fortunately, for my wife, she was able to get into another local spa/salon the very next day to have her hair accurately corrected and done properly (as it should have been in the first place⌠and for much less!). The new salon folks (that did fix my wifeâs hair) were so angered at what they saw (clearly a bad hair coloring attempt) that they wanted to call this Belk Salon location personally to tell them how bad they had messed up on my wifeâs hair. After spending another $138, my wifeâs hair has now been properly corrected and looks great đ, itâs blonde (as originally expected) and she was able to do her part in her special event without facing any backlash due to having discolored funky looking hair. The bad news is, weâre out financially over $300 dollars for a service preformed that should have been done right the first time and for a fraction of the cost (given that it was just a hair coloring/highlight). With all this being said, âwe,â âIâ (especially as a prior Vet), do not recommend nor will I endorse this salon/spa location for itâs services based on this horrible experience to anyone in the Pensacola area. Poor business ethic, bad attitudes, and a staff that lacks the necessary professional skills to preform/provide a quality service to their clients. ...
Read moreOn Sunday, 4/8/19, around 3 p.m. - my sister & I both had a terrible experience. Please BEWARE!!!! My sister & I are both Belk credit card holders and have been for years. While in the Jewelry dept my sister found several pairs of earrings that she decided she would purchase. Her salesperson (whose name I can't remember) told my sister that her Belk credit card was outdated & that she could update it in the system - so that she wouldn't have any issues with future purchases. My sister agreed so that she wouldn't be inconvenienced. I was browsing and my sister said to me - "what about your credit card?" I said "I would think I'm ok, because I received this new card - it was silver instead of the old blue Belk card - a few months ago. The salesperson who was helping my sister summoned for another salesperson (named Judy) and told Judy to update me in the system while she was finishing up w/my sister. Judy came to me & said, "Your card needs to be updated too." I was perplexed, but figured - she should know. A few minutes later, both salespersons gives us a print out stating we'll receive a "NEW" Belk MasterCard in the mail. That's when it dawned on me that we had just been mislead & taken advantage of!! Neither salesperson told us that they were actually running our credit!! Like I stated - we were told our cards were being updated!! This is going going to be an issue because I'm in the process of buying a house. I've filed a complaint and feel like these Belk salespersons should stop using the term "update" and divulge to the customer that there's goung to be a hard inquiry against customer's credit. Since my visit there I've found out that there are new account/credit card quotas for employees. So, please BEWARE of this & call Belk Card Services to inquire about your CREDIT and how it will be affected! I've closed my Belk account & my Belk credit card will be cut up. This is so disappointing because I used to like Belk BUT I'll NEVER shop...
