My love and I shared the sweet and spicy pork dumplings, then I had their pork ramen and he had their Tonkotsu curry. The dumplings were perfectly cooked and had a great balance of sweet and spicy for a wonderful dance of flavor. The ramen was great with nice cuts of pork belly and a very creamy bone broth, with just a hint of chili to clean the sinuses. The Tonkotsu with curry sauce was very good. Perfectly creamy sauce with a delicately fried pork cutlet that mixed well with the rice and steamed veggies. Food is a 10/10 would do again. The servers are nice and attentive without being overbearing. Definitely good quality there. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is wonderful, but sitting in the center of the mall walkway was a but much for me. I would have rather sat in the restaurant itself. Overall, it’s a definite “do again” restaurant with reasonable prices and good quality food.

I had walked passed this place once but unfortunately had already eaten in the food court. But I remember wanting to try the Ramen bowl. So a couple weeks later I finally made it back. Though the place is small, when I went it was not packed. We sat at the bar. The waitress was helpful and kind. We decided to get the sashimi & the pork ramen bowl... OMG... the sashimi just MELTS in your mouth.. yes it's pricey $22/ but I personally would easily drop $22 on that dish alone again. So fresh, tender, just perfect. I highly recommend it. Also, the pork ramen bowl only made me want to come back and try the beef one. It's such a large portion that I took some home for dinner that night. The pork again was not to soft or to tough. Just no complaints. I do plan on returning to try some rolls, for I can't make comments on those.

We just moved here from Japan and we love ramen, so we were excited to visit this place. When we told our waiter this, she stated that we would like the food because it was authentic. When we got our pork ramen the broth was a weird yellow tint and looked very oily. The broth did not have any flavor and tasted bland. When finally getting to the noddles the noodles also did not have any flavor. The pork was dark which I thought was weird. Overall ramen was a miss and definitely not authentic. We also ordered sushi and the sushi was decent. Can’t really compare the sushi because Japanese and American sushi are very different. Americans add a lot of toppings (still delicious) and Japanese sushi is very basic but delicious. The one thing we did like was the tempura. That was the closest thing to authentic Japanese tempura.

I won't be back unless I'm craving Ramen in the mall... I'm confused on how this place has anything above 3 stars on here. It was so bad that I'm starting to believe they don't know what it is that they are serving or at least the standard. Sadly I do and the experience and food was below subpar. While ordering I was told that the first SIX things I asked for off of the menu were unavailable. I ended up getting Bento Box C. It comes with 2 rolls, pork dumplings, and miso or cucumber salad. I got the miso. My boyfriend got the cucumber salad. I also ordered the shrimp laughing bao. After ordering from the limited options after being told that no specialty rolls were available either the waitress came back and told me that 1 of the rolls we had ordered could not be made because they were out of scallops. The laughing bao is the only thing saving this from the mandatory 1 star that allows you to review this. The laughing bao had a good flavor and the shrimp was cooked well. The miso was the next best thing that I ordered. The soup flavor was good but the type of tofu used did not seem like it was meant to go with the soup on top of it being bland. Almost as if it was broken off the block of tofu and thrown in there as an after thought before they brought it out to me... The sushi from Nippon (SUSHI) was horrible! I feel as if it's an insult to even call it sushi.. No flavor at all the soy sauce couldn't even help it. Nor could the soy sauce even be absorbed by the rice because the rice on our rolls were so over cooked it looked like mush. It might as well have been rice pudding and fish...I wouldn't even be able to identify it as rice if it were not on my roll disguised as such. Just so you understand this was so bad that I'm appalled it was even brought out to us. The person making the rolls should've known this was not how sushi should look. He should've know when spreading the mushed paste rice on to the seaweed to start over but they did not obviously. We also had multiple pieces of our rolls that did not have fish in them... I'm unsure on how that's even possible. Also before we ate our rolls I was asked if I would like a fork to eat them... If you don't know... you do not eat sushi with a fork... I asked for chopsticks instead.. At this point I had rather eaten sushi from publix than to have had this horrible experience. As far as the dumplings I was not able to eat them because of my pork allergy and I was refused substitutions while ordering so I gave them to my boyfriend. They apparently were the only thing in the bento box that were good according to him. The cucumber salad was ok but it was nothing at all to write home about. I sincerely suggest people stop coming here. For the people that do come I genuinely hope that their kitchen starts taking some pride in their work or become more knowledgeable about how the food they are...

I want to start off by saying the food is great. I haven't had a bad thing from this restaurant yet. However, their customer service needs some serious work. My husband and I went in around 3:30 pm for a late lunch. When we walked in no one greeted us so we sat at the bar not sure what to do. We looked over the menu and waited for someone to come take our order. We waited at least 15 mins with no one saying a word to us or the people that had came in shortly after us. Finally my husband asked a waitress over the counter if we could order and she came out. To set up the scene a little better, there were at least 4 or 5 waiters/waitresses behind the counter and 3 cooks. All of the wait staff was behind the counter none of them were on the floor when we walked in. After finally getting our order taken we received our food shortly after. We were finished for a while, but no one had offered to give us our check. Again I had to ask someone for the check. The bill was $31 and some change so we gave one of the waitresses out credit card. It took a while before they processed it and handed it back to us. When we got the receipt we noticed it said $34 and some change. We asked the girl that processed our card why it was rang up for more than what the bill said, and she said our waitress forgot to put my soda on there so she rang it up with the soda. They did not tell us our card was being run for more than we had seen on our bill. This is completely unacceptable. If they had noticed a problem with the bill we should have been notified before our card was ran. The wait staff needs to learn a lesson about customer service. Both myself and my husband have worked customer service related jobs both in the food industry and in retail. It takes a lot for us to give bad reviews especially when we know everyone has off days. I'm hoping that this was just an off day for your wait staff. I don't feel comfortable dinning in with this restaurant anymore. If I order there again it...

We’ve been eating at this restaurant since they opened and have always enjoyed and recommended this place for the food. Today they lost us as customers for good. I found two pieces of plastic that looked like pieces of a sauce packet in my ramen. I almost swallowed them. When I brought it to the attention of one of the employees, she insisted it was shrimp shell or skin. Aside from me not ordering anything with shrimp, the pieces were clearly plastic.

She told the owners who were both in the restaurant at the time. They looked over at us and nothing more. When our waitress (different from the first employee I told about the plastic) brought the bill, I told her about the plastic and said I was surprised that neither of the owners came to address the situation. She apologized and mentioned it again to the owners. When she returned she said they told her to tell us they were very sorry and had discounted our bill by 10%.

I did not want a discount... all I wanted was for them to acknowledge what happened. I paid the bill and went inside to speak with the owners to let them know how I felt. I approached one of them and said excuse me... she answered, “yes?” I quietly asked if I could speak with her about my meal. She responded, “no, I’m very busy.”

I asked again saying I had a problem with my food and only wanted to let them know. She responded again, “no, I’m too busy.” and she walked away.

I responded then I will leave my complaint publicly online since you don’t want to speak to me about it privately.

Although we enjoyed the food, without the addition of plastic ;-) Will never eat there again. Not because of the plastic. Anyone can make a mistake, but with attitudes like that I will never support this...
