Target Grocery — Local services in Peoria

I am absolutely outraged by the treatment I received at Target today. As someone living with a serious medical condition, I rely on the motorized shopping carts to navigate stores when I am in pain, and today I was left shocked and humiliated by a Target employee’s unprovoked verbal harassment.

After a long, painful shift at work, I was simply trying to shop with my partner when a female employee aggressively approached us out of nowhere. From across the aisle she was working, she singled me out and began publicly questioning my right to use the motorized cart, insinuating that I didn’t have a disability. She proceeded to accuse me in an abrasive, hostile manner, completely invalidating my pain and condition without any regard for my personal situation.

This employee didn’t stop there—she went out of her way to express her anger, making it clear she believed I had no reason to be using the cart. The level of hostility and judgment was beyond unacceptable. This wasn’t just rude behavior, it was verbal harassment. I have never felt so disrespected or humiliated in a store in my life.

No one should be made to feel like a liar about their own health, especially not by an employee of a store that is supposed to offer a welcoming and inclusive environment. I will never forget the way I was treated today, and I expect Target to take immediate action to address this incident. If this is how Target allows its employees to treat customers with disabilities, I won’t be shopping here again.

I'm Doing exchange and return over 7 years with no problem in any target location, this is the first time they gave me an excuse why i can't do exchang. One of the reason I'm buying in target it's because the exchange and return policy and Never had any problem. A guy name Alec with long hair who suppose to be the "manager" have such a bad attitude and bad costumer service! Very rude very aggressive not nice not polite apathetic and angry looks liked he has some issues not sure how a person like him works with people and not sure how aggressive person like him become a "manager". This is my store. I always shop this location. The service is always great. I order online to ship to my home, ship to the store and I also pick up from here frequently. I also love shopping in person. Their hair care selection is really nice. They have many of the Nexxus shampoos and conditioners in different sizes AND I love Pantene and they have like all the Pantene hair products here. And this store in particular is ALWAYS neat! Some Targets be in complete shambles but they do a great job with this one. I appreciate it. The self check out line moves quickly too. There is always an attendant...
