I decided to visit tilted 10 yesterday, Monday June the 23rd. I’ve been to Northwoods mall multiple times and always seen this arcade and was interested. I saw all the negative reviews online and didn’t want that to cloud my opinion on this place we got there yesterday and we Bought a card and put $30 on it. That gave us 150 points. Some games were 6 to 8 points per game, but there were a lot of them 10 to 20 points per game. That would only be 10 games you could play so it is kind of expensive. However, my issue is my third game I played was stacker, The game, where you lineup the blocks and get it all the way to the top row and you win a prize. On my first try, I hit the major prize however it did not dispense my 25,000 tickets. I went up to the counter and asked for help, and the manager came out The game malfunctioned he tried to scan his manager, pass and play the game, which this was kind of funny. He didn’t even know that the game wasn’t even working. He was just pressing the button. I had to explain how to play the game. Which is weird it’s one of the oldest games and the most well-known game and you don’t even know how to play stacker but that’s besides the point I told him because it didn’t seem like he wanted to do anything so I had to tell him what to do for his job I said, can’t you check the cameras After going back-and-forth for a couple minutes? He decided to go check the cameras. He came back after about 10 minutes with even more of an attitude and said I can’t see the top two row with the camera it blocks it off, but I’m just gonna go ahead and give it to you. I mentioned this is my first time in here and my third game I played and probably my last time I told him am I gonna have to record every game I play from now on to prove I’ve won bottom line a manager should have your back and already be proactive and say I’ll check the cameras or something not immediately Come at us like we’re trying to get free tickets. Insult to injury we were there about 30 minutes after that incident and he didn’t decide to go over there to try to fix it or to put a sign on it so they don’t care they want somebody else to go up there and not be able to get it and waste their money. I was just very disappointed in our experience I would not go back. Better places for better and...
Read moreExtremely disappointing experience. We called ahead this afternoon and said that we'd be bringing about 25 kids and their parents to hangout after our basketball tournament. The gentleman who spoke to my wife was extremely friendly and accommodating. Encouraging us to come on in and have a good time. Well the night staff was just the opposite. We were immediately met with unfriendly attitudes and the kids being told they have to leave. I guess they have a rule where you have to have one adult per 6 kids which we respect, but instead of them verifying that they were just telling the kids to get out. We actually had 10 adults here so that's 2.5 kids per adult. Also there was an employee named Rayden who was getting very disrespectful for no reason. He started shaking, became escalated with the kids and was talking with grit teeth to people for no reason. The kitchen staff seemed very overwhelmed too except Ahmad. He was very patient and accommodating with the large group. It was an odd experience to say the least we probably would have spent quadruple of what we ended up spending but we just felt like we weren't wanted maybe the worker's couldn't handle or maybe it starts at the top down . Either way wished it would have worked out because we were looking for a fun night with the team. I believe the staff needs to be trained better on how to handle large groups and I am not sure why an employee like Rayden would be allowed to stay after he treated customers the way he did. Also not the biggest deal but they supposedly only have 3 channels Stadium Live, CBS and Case Watch. We asked them to turn on ESPN and they said these are the only 3 channels they had. Just an odd place with overwhelmed and disrespectful employees (Outside of Ahmad). Also after speaking with the kids on the way home they also noted that Michelle was particularly mean to them as well. I did notice her talking under her breath passive aggressively when she was making out drinks at the bar. Definitely not a customer first...
Read moreWe got to go in and experience the Tilted 10 for the first time over the weekend. We purchased a game card to share since it was our first time. I was curious about the VIP so we went to the counter to talk to someone. Jeff helped us and he was able to explain to us what the VIP is. He was very helpful and knew his job very well and I appreciated how clear he was with explaining things. He said that once you spend $300 on one specific card over an amount of time you become a VIP which makes the games cheaper overall. We ended up purchasing our game card at the kiosk. We received 160 points for $40 and then you get an additional 40 points giving us a total of 200 points to use in the arcade. They have a lot of huge games that Stand Out above the rest, my favorite game that I played was King Kong VR, great game, love the graphics, loved how real it felt, it cost 32 points for each of us. Make sure that you're paying attention to what games you can play with a specific card that you purchase. Some of them you can only play the games with the green light. One thing that I didn't like about the arcade was how fast the games ended. After we made it past the first level on King Kong, it said that we had to scan our card and add additional points in order to move on to the next level. I remember arcades from back in the day, you played until you got the top score or you lost all of your lives. I noticed with the games that we played this day that they ended rather quickly, only lasting about 1-3 minutes. That made it a little bit disappointing because even though we had 200 points we didn't stay very long. I think they did a great job with designing the arcade, lots of great games, unique games like "basketball Connect Four", I saw a lot of people playing that one. Plus, they have a miniature bowling alley and also full size basketball hoops. The glow-in-the-dark miniature golf course is in the works and they're almost done with the mural on the wall, that's going to be pretty cool. Go on in and...
