Dear DDS Management and Corporate Office, I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the customer service experience I encountered at your store today. While shopping for a bathing suit, I discovered a missing top for the suit I wanted to purchase. I asked a staff member named Sophia for help in locating the missing piece, because they were all alarmed together and she kindly agreed to assist me. During our search, Sophia and I were in the process of looking for the top when another staff member, Melissa manager passed by and let her know that item would be a "M o s" and let me take bottom part. Curious about the meaning of this term, I asked Sophia, what "M o S" and she said that the suit would be at a discounted price due to the missing piece. Pleased with this solution, I proceeded to shop more. When cashing out I mentioned the discount on the separate piece, and the cashier flatly refused and began questioning me in a rude and negative manner. The cashier asked who had given me this information, and I provided Sophia's name, explaining that a manager had walked by and mentioned something about a "dos or M o Mls." At this point, the cashier seemed to doubt me and inquired about the manager's appearance, "what does she look like? " asserting that the manager was in the fitting room. In the end manger talked with me and was not helpful and unpolgetic and I left my cart and bought nothing. RUDE, classless, uncaring. SOPHIA thanks for being kind and find a new job because that group of girls are unprofessional and need training on customer service. HEADQUARTERS and my followers will hear this Perris store sucks. Read moreI WISH I COULD PUT 0 STARS..... Has anybody been told that a store supervisor has to check the camera to confirm you purchased an item you are trying to rerurn? ?????????? Well.....that's what happened to me at DD'S DISCOUNT IN PERRIS. I purchased a shower caddy and it got moldy wirhin a couple of weeks, went to try to return it, but I didn't have my receipt....when I found it I went back, and by then the caddy that I purchased to replace the first one, had gotten moldy as well, but I went to return it within 2 weeks of purchase, when I showed Rene the cashier at returns register, she told me her manager had to go check the cameras to confirm I had purchased that item.......it was then I realized I had purchased it at another DD'S...so the supervisor told me I had to go to that store to return the moldy shower caddy, but that store is about 45 mins away!!! THAT IS THE MOST RIDICULOUS THING I'VE EVER HEARD WHEN TRYING TO RETURN A DAMAGED MERCHANDISE! !!! DO NOT SHOP AT THAT STORE! !! THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THAT CASHIER RENE HAS BEEN RUDE TO ME MORE THAN ONE TIME!!!!! Yes prices are good, but some of their employees could use some customer...
Read moreExperience was terrible ..they open at 8:30a.m. and they have a lot of employees working at this time I could see.....only one cashier was open taking care of purchases and returns ....I waited almost 30minutes in line ..and behind me was like 20 more people waiting ..another cashier open 30 minutes later and ask did I find everything ok ...I told her yes but the customer service and line was ridiculous..bad customer service!! If my son didnt have a toy in his hand I honestly would have left everything I had in my cart a long time ago when 10minutes had past already ...the cashier said the maximum wait time is 5 minutes...then why was I in line for almost 30minutes ..In retail business every employee should be cashier trained ..there is no excuse not to get a customer in and out of a store ! If a store needs more hours to take care of customers it will happen if you take care of customers because they will continue shopping in your business ...Im never shopping in this store again ..and I bet the other 20people behind me will think twice about...
