This place is so incredibly beautiful - you can tell that the lady who put it together is super passionate about fiber arts. They have a huge selection of beautiful tools like looms, spinning and carding supplies, and even stuff for dyeing, including a community indigo vat that is super cool! I attended heir World Wide Knit In Public Day event and it was so sweet, I couldn’t imagine a better way to spend a day.    Read moreI lost my sewing studio in the recent fires, and Alisha welcomed me into the circle. I'm able to work on patterns, sew if needed, and now I'm intrigued by all the other arts I see here while I'm working: a woman carding her wool so she can spin yarn, another woman learning to weave on a small loom, and another woman getting Alisha's help dyeing a dull beige sweater into a lovely cranberry gem. After completing just one weaving project with the guidance of Alicia, I had the skill and confidence to start a new project on my own. Being a member and working at the studio is awesome, as there are no dishes to do or emails to answer.
