I waited in line back at the red mark on the floor for social distancing as per their signs (whether that’s even still effective or necessary is another story). The woman being checked out asked if they had something in particular so the clerk went off to the far corner of the store with her to look. In the 6-7 minutes they were gone another clerk mingled around sorting new stock, apparently not capable to check out or to get someone else to open another register. Before the original clerk and customer returned another couple strolled up and stood between me and the counter. Hard to believe they didn’t see me waiting there! I didn’t say anything as they looked like they were checking out goods on the rack, and I figured the clerk would do the right thing. When the first transaction was completed the clerk helped the new couple instead of me! When it was my turn I expressed my displeasure but received no empathy. Rude selfish people and clueless employees made for one very dissatisfied customer…

I would have given an even lower rating but other times in here have not been this bad. But I’m not planning to come back...

The manager here Cheryl is amazing!! I just called to see if they still carried northface women’s jackets, she called my right back on New Year’s Eve, she listed what kinds they have along with other brands and offered to help find me the jacket I’m looking for as I live over an hour away. I grew up in Peterborough and miss this store so much!! You cannot find such a big selection of women’s winter gear anywhere but here. Not to mention the sales!! All the northface jackets and ugg boots I own are from Huberts that I got such an amazing deal on! I’m so sad the Goffstown store closed. Well Be taking a trip up to Peterborough soon!!! Excellent and helpful staff. The quality of the merchandise is also great, and if you need something they don't have on the floor they can and will get it for you. A true local gem in Peterborough.

Downsides are the small space (you will be dodging people and coatracks) and as a rider on that same point, limited stock if you need something in particular.

Prices are what you might expect for a small boutique store specializing in high quality outdoor goods. Expensive, but not overally so and worth it.
