I recently bought a pair of shoes from this store for a specific event, but I ended up not wearing them. Since they were unused, I decided to return them about a week later. When I brought them back, I was told they couldn’t be returned because there were signs of wear. I explained to the employee that any wear could’ve easily come from other customers trying them on before I bought them, but she insisted ā€œtheir floors wouldn’t do that.ā€ I didn’t wear the shoes and didn’t inspect them before returning because I assumed they were in the same condition as when I purchased them. I wasn’t aware of any wear when I bought them. Looking closely now, the right shoe looks pretty new, but the left one clearly shows signs of being tried on repeatedly, possibly even a display shoe. That same left shoe was the one the employee handed me to try on in-store, so it’s likely others tried it on too. The right shoe would have damage to the rubble heel if it was worn outside of the store but it doesn’t. I didn’t keep the paper stuffing that came inside the shoes, but I still have the box and the receipt. I didn’t expect to return them, so I didn’t think the paper would matter. However, the employee said not having the stuffing was another reason they couldn’t accept the return, which feels very unreasonable and ridiculous. I called corporate and filed a complaint. They asked me to send photos and offered a 50% refund, but I’m not satisfied with that. The shoes were $90. It doesn’t make sense that I’d wear only one shoe and leave the other looking new. If Aldo is selling shoes that already show signs of wear, how are customers supposed to return them if needed? I’ve attached pictures.

5 star review for the service! Gianni talked through some pieces with me to choose for a wedding I’m attending as a guest (tomorrow, August 22). Ended up getting a pair of kitten heels, a clutch and some hoops - all new and not worn. I was in a pinch because I was traveling from Tuesday - Thursday, right before the weeding, so I needed to purchase these things this past Sunday (August 17). I was able to finally take a look at the items and unfortunately the hoops broke after trying them on and the heels look worn for $92. I tried to call for an exchange but by the tone of the representatives voice I could tell she couldn't be bothered in having a conversation and unfortunately there are no pairs of the heels left in stock at my closest store and I was sold the last pair which now explains the scuffs and torn fabric. Since I need them for tomorrow I declined the offer of getting them shipped to the store and was told sorry about that before the called ended. While I understand I should’ve given myself more time, not responsible on my part, it’s kind of wild buying brand new shoes at almost $100 with obvious wear and tear. Please look over the shoes before purchasing because I know folks aren’t honest about returns and re selling. Please offer discounts on shoes like these folks (let’s not talk about the earrings!)

Aldo has really nice boots. Mine scrapped within a few months of wearing and I have not tried other boots but I still like the looks of their other shoes.

My experience was horrible I was sold sandals that looked worn, but the mgr. Said it was not worn, just a popular shoe that every tried on in the store, he then said don't worry and tried to clean them up from the bottom and I brought them anyway because it was the last pair.

I wore the sandala yesterday for the 1st time when a baby rock went through the shoe and I also noticed the black paint did not cover the entire sandle in the front. I called corporate customer service and they said to return the shoe for a full refund, exchange, or store credit. But when I got to the store the staff only offered a refund or store credit which was perfectly fine. So I picked out a choe that was $1.76 cheaper and the mgr. tried to force me to buy something else and spend more money. Instead of giving me the balance back. This is totally unexpectedly. I will not ever shop here again. Very poor customer service, product is horrible. Return policy is only on not use or worn product. You guys charge too much money for your product to have restrictions like that. I gave 2 stars because they did end up giving me a new shoe and my change back, after...
