Fed up with the staff!! am fed up with the Philadelphia center city Nordstrom rack on Chestnut street. The employees are just plain RUDE!!Today I had two rude encounters. I went to return pairs of shoes I had ordered online that didn't fit. The gentleman that helped me was complaining the whole time and telling me how i could just go into a mall next time and not come into the store to return things. I said that I don't have a car but he proceeded to badger me about it. He took a really long time and started organizing all of the shoes out of the boxes before gave me my return receipt. When I asked him which card the money would be returned to he snapped at me saying I would have to contact my bank. I then shopped for a few clothing items. When I went back down another really rude woma checked me out. The last time I was in the store she was annoyed that I couldnt log into my credit card thru my sms and was huffing and puffing that she had to get my Id to get all the info up on the computer. This time I asked if I could use my rewards towards my purchase and she very very rudely said 'it's too late you'll have to use it next time.'THey never offer if you wanna use your money at the right time, so this is the second time that's happened to me. I'm extremely fed up and probably will be avoiding that store from now on. It's just so uncomfortable to be treated that way as a customer...

However, the checkout line situation when there are lots of people shopping is out of control. Moreover, their computer system forces them to individually mark things down, so during big sales (like clear the rack!) it's highly irritating. Computers have the capability of dealing with this, but corporate hasn't actually implemented a quality solution. Basically, the people are nice and I like the store, but be prepared to wait in a line out to the door at peak shopping times and just be happy if that's not how it...

Yesterday there was a really long line, only two cashiers out of 5 registers, and when finally one more cashier showed up, she made a point to walk really slowly, talking forever to "prepare" her cash register, all of this with a really long line that tailed into the store. Another cashier eventually came, but before calling the next customer in line, she made sure to take her time to check her phone. This is a management problem, not the individual...
