I've always been treated with good customer service by the representatives at this location. However, recently I paid for products only to discover they were not in my bag once I returned home. I regretfully had to return back to the store (having tossed my receipt) attempting to get my extra items. Upon arrival as usual I was met with a beautiful greeting and smile from one of the African American young representatives. I asked to speak to a Manager on site. The manager identified herself (Caucasian) with a flat personality. She didn't seem eager to see a customer. I stated my issue. Thankfully the young customer service representative overheard me and immediately called out my products. She stated the cashier yesterday (white female) left a note with the items yesterday "customer paid and left them". Needless to say, I did not leave them, they were not placed in my bag by the cashier. However, getting my items was of no problem thanks to the spirit and diligence of the service representative. I received no apology or sentiments of regret for the inconvenience of having to return back to the store to retrieve items I paid for from the manager. I do not typically write reviews, nor to I believe race matters in my daily interaction. However, ineffective service on one day blamed on me by a white cashier followed by; poor treatment from a white manager the next day was FAR from my typical experience at any bath & body location. I am glad there were good spirited- and pleasant black service representatives in the store on both days. They were the only people kind and helpful to me. Respectfully Submitted in hopes ALL the staff treat ALL the customers with a positive high...
Read morereally rude to me while looking at the samples and acting like i was going to run out with an $8 lotion. be serious when you're interacting with people.
also when i was smelling the lotion to see if it was as strong as the body spray, telling me "this is actually how its MEANT to be smelled after it atomizes" and giving me a sample paper I DIDNT ask for was extremely rude and no amount of fake smiles and limp wrists will make that okay. i didnt ask you how it smelled on the paper, i already got one. i was seeing if the lotion was just as strong. if you didnt want me to try the lotion, why tf would you have a sample of it as well?
i'll go when theres people who look like me there. otherwise steer clear if youre darker than the sample paper that was forced on me. they'll make it their mission to make you as uncomfortable as possible.
if you were trying to see if i was a thief you couldve handled that much better than you did. but hey, you lost out on a purchase because i regularly come...
Read moreIt's actually one of the safer stores I've been to post Covid-19. They have greeters with hand sanitizer who make a point to catch every customer as they enter and require that they use it. Additionally instead of the usual cloth bags for shopping they have you use the same shopping bags you leave with after purchase. It's not great for stopping those with sticky fingers but a plus for public health. I was impressed. Unfortunately the store still doesn't have contactless pay options like Google or Apple Pay so you still have to use a keypad (for debit) but the precautions they've taken are impressive compared to other stores. The store is usually busy but it's not hard to find someone to help you if they can and it's generally a smooth shopping experience but there often overly long lines and too few people on the registers. It's overall...
