The landlord sent my deposit past the allotted time stated on the leasing agreement. 30 days after the lease end the agreement but it was not given until nearly 60 days after. What made the experience more frustrating was that he claimed to have sent it within the 30 days but when the check arrived, the date of the check was closer to the 60 day mark. This place is run by him only so expect a lot of disorganization and delays. There is also no security guard and no front desk person which has caused packages to he stolen from random people. Landlord will only respond to your messages when he feels like it and when you ask him to assist you, he takes forever or makes up an excuse as to why it hasn't been done. If you like to hear your neighbors at all hours of the day then this apt would be your best fit. You can hear your neighbors above, beside, and below you and at very heavy volumes because the flooring is thin and low quality. Elevators are slow and have poor circulation so expect unpleaseant scents regularly. Garage is small and unsafe since he never opened a second exit door. It's far too overpriced for what you are actually...
Read moreI just moved out of unit 551 and I do not recommend this unit!!!
Never in my life have I had a PECO bill over $150 in the winter (even with gas). However, as soon as I switched to heat, my bill jumped to $350 in December—for just 500 sq. feet! This happened last winter (December–February) and again this winter. But this January, my bill skyrocketed to $524!
Last year, I requested that my heating unit and outlets be tested, but management refused. I spoke with five other units this past winter, and their heating bills ranged from $200–$250. These units had additional tenants and/or worked from home, whereas I did not—so their electricity usage should have been naturally higher than mine. Yet, my bill was significantly higher.
After my first winter month in my new building, my PECO bill was only $80. So tell me again—was it really me and not the unit?
It’s a beautiful building that is kept clean but I do not...
Read moreI recently moved out and would recommend trying this place. Location is great, within walking distance to the sports complex, which was a perk. The neighborhood is fine, I never felt unsafe while walking around. Maintenance is great - timely and friendly, Larry always said hello whenever I saw him in the building. The gym has what you need but can feel crowded at times because it is small. Never had a package go missing. The roof deck is great - an amenity I wish I used more. Management is very responsive. The only real occasional issue is the smell of cigarette and pot smoke that lingers, even in the outside walkways. It sometimes got into the apartment and was hard to get out in winter time. Pleasantly surprised by how soundproof everything was. I probably would have renewed my lease if I didn’t get a good deal on a larger space in an area of the city closer...
