I normally don't write reviews unless I had a very bad or a very good experience with a business. I was prompted to do this review since our experience tonight and our order from the month prior both ended pretty badly. On Wednesdays we normally order buffalo wings from this place due to "Wacky Wing Wednesday" because of the deal that we can get on this special. We always order 75 wings-hot ( 50 with sauce on it and 25 without for the little kids, but put the sauce on the side). With our previous order, the wings with sauce were a bit dry, but at least we have the hot sauce on the side right? WRONG! The container that they gave us with the buffalo sauce would have been only enough for 5 wings (it's those little tiny ones that they normally put honey mustard in) and only 1 was given. The blue cheese only came in 4 of those small little containers and was not enough for 75 wings Oh! And did I mention that only 1 tiny bag of celery/carrots was given? Fast forward to tonight's order. You're wondering why did I order from this place again when I had that previous incident right? Well, I decided to give them another chance since they have been so good to us before and people make mistakes. I called and ordered the usual and I asked to girl to make sure that we get enough hot sauce (the pint container) for the dry wings She said sure and that the total will be $35.10 and will be about an hour. I said sure, thanks. Delivery guys comes and says total is $39 and some change. I was like "what? Hold up The girl on the phone who took my order said $35.10" so we both looked at the receipt and guess what I saw?! A charge of $4 for the sauce on the side! I never got charged before and the wings come with sauce! So I just paid the man (he may have lost out on some tip, but sorry dude, girl should've been more precise and not have charged me for that sauce that comes with the wings). Wings with the sauce was still dry, no sauce dripping on the bottom of the container or anything. The amount of veggies and bleu cheese was good this time, but wait, here's the best part! That $4 extra charge for that container of hot sauce......was mixed with mayonaise! It was so creamy looking and you can smell the mayo right when the lid was opened! It tasted worse..trust me, I tried it out of curiosity. Had to toss that out (there goes my $4) before we ended up fighting for the toilet from that concoction. Hence my storytelling review. I gave them 2 stars only because of our previous experience with them, but that hot sauce mixed with mayo topped the cake and we will not be ordering from this place ever again. Read moreWhat a terrible company, horrible customer service, insanely slow delivery, oh and again HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Placed order for delivery at 5:43 PM, estimated delivery time 6:40PM-6:50PM, called store at 6:55 PM, requested status on delivery, before I could even provide any information about the delivery the employee says "its on its way" I asked how does she know with out any of my info, she repeated herself and hung up. HUNG UP like with the sound of a phone hitting the cradle and all. I called back and got a different employee, told her about the experience, and the 2nd employee states that the food was ABOUT to leave the store. I said so your other employee states its on its way without any info, and you're telling me its about to leave the store. I asked how long has the food been sitting, and they tell me only a few minutes in a hot bag waiting for a driver. I state its unacceptable and I get a half hearted "sorry". 7:06 PM step outside to see the driver delivering the food to the wrong address. Food as expected arrived cold and terrible, cheese on fries completely congealed and disgusting. "Not Just Pizza" is a perfect name, because they're not just pizza, they're also terrible customer service.
P.S. Delivery driver hands me a 2 liter soda as a "sorry" wow thanks just what I wanted. Never will...
Read moreHORRENDOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE: Tonight we ordered delivery from Not Just Pizza (South Philly), and my pregnant wife opened the door to find a delivery driver with no mask. This is the second time in as many weeks their delivery driver has shown up to our door with no facemask, and my wife called back to complain.
The owner/manager answered her complaint with aggression and thinly-veiled hostility. Before she could even get a few words out, he interrupted her, saying, “I give these guys masks. I can’t control them once they leave the store.” It is apparent we weren’t the only people complaining about this issue. This is a public health & safety issue while we’re all in the midst of a full-blown pandemic.
My wife told him she’s not comfortable ordering from them moving forward, and his response was, “That’s fine!” then he told her how busy he was and hung up on her.
This is the last straw. I can handle NJP’s long record hit-or-miss food quality, but appalling customer service from someone who oversees the day-to-day operations is inexcusable.
