I went to the meat department and I was next in line. The man dug in his ear with gloves on and without changing his glove he gave the customer chicken wings or drumsticks. I was so disgusted I finished my shopping. I go to checkout and the cashier coughed in her hand. I asked her to clean her hand. Then she wanted to act like she couldn't understand me. I told her to clean her hands with the hand sanitizer. The young lady next to her handed her, her sanitizer. She said that she has some. But she never cleaned her hands and said she coughed in her shirt. My cousin told her that I had a thing about germs. The lady said she wasn't to me yet. I'm going to use it. The lady in front of me told her not to worry and just come on to finish with her. I took my food off the belt and went to the young lady next to her. Read moreI was just racial profiled at cousin on berks. I have gone to this store all 22 years of my life and tonight they accused me of stealing as i left because i didn’t have a bag i put my items in my pocket the because i didn’t have a bag and the new worker man continue to harass me as I left the building, and when I came back in for the cashier to confirm that I did, in fact pay for my items, he did not apologize, and he still remain very aggressive. I will not be returning to the store, even though I have gone to the store, my whole life. This was very uncalled for and I do believe that I was racially profiled, even though I have been in the store many times before. I can’t believe that the worker went to the extent to embarrass me outside, even when the cashier confirm that I paid for my items if this is how businesses man it’s completely concerning, and I believe that your ethical values should be put under a microscope because this reflects your...
Read moreI have been a Cousin's customer since i was 12 years old, going to the Supermarket with my mom, when they opened their first store on Frankford Avenue. It was not as big, but they had everything you needed, including the great prices. They had a great selection of Goya products and everyone else's products. When they closed that store, they opened on American and Lehigh Ave. , which every customer they had in Frankford followed them there with many more., including our family. Many years later, I became a cashier for them, i worked the bakery, cashier etc. I can actually say, that Cousins is still my store (on Berks). Shopping at Cousins all these years from generations to generations has been like a family Supermarket...still today, Cousins continues to have great prices for this new generation. The store has upgraded with a new look and continues to strive. Thank you Cousins. Ashkuruk...
