Mr. Wish Drexel — Restaurant in Philadelphia

Stopped by Mr. Wish on my way home for some Boba Tea. While my drink was good, the customer service was lacking. Allow me to explain. A young woman arrived shortly after me, and no one said hello to her or offered suggestions on what to order. Then a group of overzealous college students walked in and cut in front of her as if she wasn't standing in line and placed their orders. The young woman turned around and walked away. No one behind the counter corrected the group of students. To be fair, two out of three people working behind the counter appeared to be quite young, and it was the end of the day, so maybe they were tired. Their bubble teas are so good! They're a bit on the sweeter side (the berry jelly tea did not have variable sweetness) but it was still good nonetheless. Other places just give you one type of jelly. What I really like about this place is that they put in some extra stuff! I like something chewy and chunks of stuff in my drink and I really liked this! They have board games and card games as well so it's a very nice space to spend an hour or two with friends just hanging out and playing. The space is pretty clean too. Their prices are a tad bit on the higher side but I guess it's ok since they put in a lot of stuff in their teas? That's for you to decide I guess but it's definitely worth going once and...

Decent drinks but customer service could be better - generally they wouldn’t ask you to choose ice level/sugar level so if you don’t bring it up yourself they would default to regular ice and sugar though they offer different options on the menu. I was a regular but when I went in this week I forgot to say no ice and asked them politely as to whether it would be possible to remove the ice after I got the drink. The store was empty and they weren’t doing much but the girl seemed rude to me so I was thrown off by her attitude. I would totally understand if it was not possible since the drink was already passed to me at that time but just thought she could’ve said it in a nicer way given she wasn’t even busy...
