Susan Nails & Spa — Local services in Philadelphia

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Susan Nail and Spa. I went in for an eyebrow wax and ended up needing medical treatment due to a severe breakout. The technician repeatedly dipped the same wax stick back into the wax and even left it in there, which is extremely unhygienic.

I usually go to Omnia Spa, but since I was in the area and Omnia was unavailable, I decided to give this place a try, especially since it had great reviews. However, when I called this morning to inform them about what happened, the response I received was, “What do you want me to do?”—which was shockingly unprofessional.

Additionally, I have never had a pedicure where a liner wasn’t used, and I noticed their products were not coming out of new packaging. While the prices are inexpensive, the lack of hygiene and customer service make it absolutely...

I love this place so much. I’ve been getting hard gel nails for about a year and tried a few different places accepting that they’re expensive and sometimes they’re thicker in some parts making my nail look deformed and silly at times. I decided to try this place and she did an amazing job. I’ve come here now several times and it’s consistently good! The shape, thickness, just amazing and she doesn’t charge over $100 for goopy misshaped nails. She’s great and incredibly nice. Oh and she throws in a 5 min massage which always surprises me but damn do it need it haha....

Highly recommend! The space is clean and bright, and my stylist was very kind and did very detailed work (my cuticles look amazing)! I was surprised that a much needed hand and shoulder massage, and a hot towel were included with my manicure. I don't get my nails done often, but the few experiences I have had at different salons were not encouraging and made me believe it wasn't worth the money. But I will definitely be coming back to...
