If I was able to rate 0 stars on this place I would. Never have I felt like I was an inconvenience for needing treatment until going here. This was a complete waste of time and money and there should be a refund option for 0 help, 0 treatment.
I went in for an injury (knee, ankle, foot) after a nasty fall. I'm 5'10" and weight 190 pounds. I twisted my ankle hard when a belt on my boot caught onto my suitcase. I twisted around and fell with all of my weight on my right knee that has torn cartilage and jarred my spine that's already damaged and herniated, while my ankle was still hooked onto the suitcase. My leg below the knee is now significantly crooked and shifted to the right and my foot curls in the opposite way to the left. My foot, ankle and knee are three times the normal size and discolored.
When I was able to be seen by the doctor, Peter, he comes in and asks what the problem is. I get out two sentences before he cut me off and asks another question. Again he cut me off in mid sentence so I was never able to get more than a few words out. He asked me to stand up and walk. I stood up on my good foot, took one gimp of a hobbled step and he says sit down. He then touches my leg two times, no where near where the problem is, tells me I'm fine and if the problem persists I should call my primary care doctor and made the attempt to stand up and leave...
He didn't take my shoe off to see my foot, or raise my pant leg to see the psychical difference, swelling, discoloration or listen that my main concern was where the bone connected to my knee despite the issues I had with my ankle.
My cousin was in the room with me and asked if coming in was a waste of time. He told us he can't determine anything until the exam and his exam told him I was fine just sore from the fall and he would speak over me or cut me off whenever I tried to say anything after that. All I wanted was an x-ray.
He told me if I had a sprain or fracture I would not let him touch my ankle or leg, I would be unable to stand and would be in crippling pain. At this point he was talking to me but would only look at my cousin. Every thing he said he was looking at her the entire time and when he did look at me it was with disdain like I'd done something to offend him. The only thing I can think of is not accepting his diagnosis. I was upset at this point but didn't show it. He prescribed ibuprofen and gave me crutches before leaving the room without another word; not as a result of the exam but only per request of my cousin who was trying to find a way to ease my discomfort until I get an appointment with a real doctor that I now have to take time off at work to do.
He refused to acknowledge that I have an acute case of congenital insensitivity to pain that we both tried to explain. I feel more on average but can't feel injuries unless someone is pressing down on where the injury is. I can only feel pain more in certain parts of my body. My mother has SHATTER BONE in BOTH of her ankles and never knew it nor understood why her legs eventually became crooked.
I've said more in this review than I was able to there because he would not listen to me. The exam lasted two minutes, he was in the room less than five. This doctor was a complete jerk. Never did I raise my voice or give him an attitude, like he did to me. When he left the room my cousin turned to me in shock over how rude he was because I wasn't able to tell him anything. He literally scanned me over with his eyes and said I was fine.
If I find out there is serious injury to my leg after going to my primary care doctor, and this man refused to treat me, I'm reporting him. Although I should anyway over how incredibly rude and disrespectful he was. I honestly would have cared less over his attitude if I'd gotten the x-ray. I needed it so I could give it to my primary doctor to compare it to an MRI I just had done two weeks ago that showed the damage my entire right side has already sustained. I will never go to an...

The regular urgent care I go to, was closed due to a power outage so I decided to go to this one. I was in SERIOUS knee pain and thought I had possibly broken or tore something.
My experience in the urgent care was fine. I got in fast and the care I got in the physical urgent care was fine. I went straight from my gym to the urgent care, so I didn’t have my debit card to pay my copay. I wanted my spouse to bring my debit card, but was told it was “no big deal” and that “most people don’t pay their copay on the spot” instead getting a bill in the mail. I’ll get to that later....
I was prescribed medication due to the extreme pain being caused by inflammation in my knee. I waited over 24 hours until attempting to get the medication via my pharmacy. My pharmacy informed me they didn’t get any script in for me.
I call the urgent care, they are completely apologetic and say they’ll send it over ASAP. I give it another 24 hours.
I call my pharmacy again, they proceed to tell me they don’t have a script. I asked my pharmacy to call the urgent care. They proceed to call me back saying the urgent care has no record of me needing any medication. Obviously at this point I’m irritated so I call the urgent care again. The woman on the phone tells me “nowhere in your notes does it say you need medication” and the “person who attended to me wasn’t there” and they basically couldn’t do anything until they came in. Okay...so call them? Employers have their employees numbers? Additionally, I work in health care. I write notes for clients. It should have been clearly stated in my note that medication was recommended.
I didn’t get my script for OVER another 24 hours. I went through over three days of nonsense trying to get my prescription.
I finally got my prescription and thought the complete nonsense was over. NOPE.
I waited over a month for my bill to come in the mail or show up on my health insurance portal. It never came. I called the urgent care who said they basically saw I was seen but that I “owed” 100s of dollars because they hadn’t sent it to my insurance. I offered to drive down and just pay the copay on site. They didn’t allow that.
I then called Banner’s billing department who said I didn’t owe any money, which was false and that I needed to contact my health insurance.
I call my health insurance. Health insurance has no record of me being seen. They attempted TWICE to call this facility and couldn’t get through. My insurance said they were never billed from the facility, which is why my copay wasn’t showing up on my portal.
Eventually, I emailed the directing doctor and he was able to get it settled.
I will absolutely never go here again. From a organization office stand point, this place is awful. They didn’t seem to care that their disorganization caused me to suffer for several more days than needed and if I wouldn’t have been on top of the billing, I could have easily been sent to collections because they never sent the bill to...
Read moreI am not one to write reviews, but this was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at this urgent care. I came in with terrible flu symptoms and feeling so sick that I couldn't even stand to check myself in. The gentleman who brought me back into the room was incredibly kind and when I almost passed out on him while he was taking my blood pressure, he very kindly let me lay down. The NP came in and was so dismissive, condescending and just downright rude. I explained to her that I got a negative covid test the day prior to which she cut me off and said "it was rapid and only 50% accurate" like I did something wrong in choosing to get a rapid test. I then tried to explain my symptoms starting with the fact that I have had a fever for the past 4 days to which she again cut me off by saying "you don't have one right now". Even though I had just taken 800 mg of ibuprofen before I came. She didn't even ask anything about my medical history which is quite extensive but instead started interrogating me on my profession and if I wear a mask to which she was extremely judgemental on even though it has absolutely 0 relevance to me being sick but my medical history quite possibly could. She made me take another covid test even though I already had one negative one. I brought up how one of my friends mentioned a Z-pack could help whatever was making me sick. She practically rolled her eyes and smirked saying if I think I have the flu a Z-pack won't help but "I can write it for you anyways". Typically I would not hold my tongue in a situation like this but I was on the verge of passing out and had no energy to yell at her. I am baffled that someone in a position like hers would have the gall to be so unprofessional and unwilling to believe that people can get sick of something other than covid. Had she asked my medical history I would have explained that I already had covid earlier this year and this sickness felt completely different. My covid test came back negative again this morning. Its unfortunate that her bedside manners are that terrible and I would support her changing her profession. I have always chosen Banner for my healthcare needs but this terrible interaction is going to make me second guess that. Its quite unfortunate because every other employee there was so kind...
