Please beware. Owner is unkind, lacks accountability. I want to share my recent experience with Arizona Sound, and unfortunately, it was not a positive one. I visited Arizona Sound to upgrade the sound system in my new 2024 vehicle, as I know very little about stereo systems and needed professional guidance. I purchased an amp, a sub and wiring kit online, and a line-output/bass knob from Arizona Sound. During the installation, a man asked me where to install the amp and bass knob, and I showed him where I wanted them. The subwoofer I purchased was a down-firing 10-inch Kicker sub, and they installed it facing down in the rear of my cabin. Unfortunately, the subwoofer blew not once, but twice. I replaced it through the manufacturer the first time, but it blew again the second time. Concerned that there may have been an installation defect since it happened twice, so close in time, I took my vehicle back to AZ Sound. The owner looked at my setup and informed me that the issue was due to the way the subwoofer was installed - which they had done. I was extremely disappointed to hear this, as I had specifically asked for professional assistance and trusted them to install the equipment correctly. The lack of accountability and customer service in this situation was quite disheartening. He told me if I bought the subwoofer from him he would replace it but bc I didn’t and wanted to be “cheap” and buy online that he wouldn’t - even though it was their installation that caused my subwoofer to blow twice and the subwoofer I purchased is more expensive than the one he offered to sell me. I purchased according to what the woman, his employee, advised me to at the front counter. The lack of accountability and failure to identify with a solid customer is awfully appalling. BEWARE. This guy does NOT listen to reason. I had two family members with me, as they wanted to inquire about audio upgrades also and they were also unimpressed and surprised by this man’s behavior. A subwoofer isn’t expensive for me and doesn’t hurt my pocket - but we, as paying customers, require trust and good communication. PLEASE BEWARE. I hope this review helps someone else from a similar experience at...
Read moreI was in there with my mom she wanted to buy me speakers and an amp for Father's day. Over all the shop has been there it's a hard market I get that. They offered to install the 6.5 kicker coaxial speakers when I had in mind component set. Oh well I guess it's simply an easier install paid 60 for the install. I had asked them to please keep the old speakers (stock speakers) and if they could reuse the mounting bracket. I didn't want them to screw directly into my door....well fast forward to today and I had some other system components to finish my build. Went to dismount the coaxial speakers from the front to reinstall in the rear....and what do you know...the moment I took off my door card...drilled directly into my door at the speakers...no gaskets no sound deadening the factory speaker wires cut and splitting into it with what looks to be twist crimp connectors...guys I get it operational costs...but if your gonna install something and had offered to install at a premium...why not use consumables that are relegated to the cost of install...for 30 bucks per speakers...and doing some poor work. Isn't acceptable.
Overall would of gotten 3 stars... Minus one star the customers request for a component system over a coaxial speaker.... Minus one star for quality of work to the install. Josephine magno is my mother...just so you can't claim I have your shop confused with another shop.
Total rating 1 star... Folks for equipment prices and your in the north valley I'll recommend you go here. For install of work....stay away...just...don't
Once you buy their goods they won't keep your goods protected with their install....
If I need to include receipt of...
Read moreThe owners at AZ Sound were so helpful after a neighbor had botched a stereo installation. Q pulled the stereo and worked his magic and turned what had been a mess of an installation into an amazing experience for me. He even found out that the prior owner of the vehicle had left a backup camera installed which I had no idea and my neighbor was so inexperienced he never noticed during his attempt at an installation. Q had to reconnect all of the wires and even had to splice cables that the neighbor had cut for some reason. Great Job and I will definitely return. I had never been here before and I was relieved and proud of the way they treated a senior female customer. I had a double Din Pioneer DVD, Bluetooth unit with Steering Wheel Controls and extra Accessory Jack port installed in the side panel, and Rear back up camera (that had been installed by the prior owner) adjusted and connected. Everything looked Professional and if looked as if it was factory except for the marks made by my neighbor. I'll never had an amateur touch my car again. (And Sadly, yes, I paid my neighbor well for job poorly done. No money back there) Thanks again, AZ Sound! (I am not related, friends or paid in anyway for this review by AZ Sound Owners...
