Starbucks — Restaurant in Phoenix

I bought myself a January mug at Starbucks over the holidays. For $40, you are able to get 1 free coffee or tea each day for the month of January. I brought my mug to this location inside of Safeway tonight. The barista said she never heard of this. I asked her if this was considered a “real “ Starbucks, and she said it was. I asked her to read the code that is printed right on the mug, and she said it wasn’t valid and refused to give me my coffee.. she made me feel embarrassed, and like I was trying to “get away with something “, when it was her own lack of education/training. I finally asked her if she had a business card, or some way I could get in touch with the manager at this location. She said there wasn’t. Instead of standing there arguing with her, I decided to leave. I have been a Starbucks Gold Card Members l since 2002, and have never had such a poor experience. If I have to explain everything you just wouldn't understand I once sat enjoying my am routine coffee a tall pike as discussed ,typically however not Everytime my very knowledgeable fine team of baristas always say my name asking if my order is accurate I do but unlike so many people have so much spare real lifetime time to try being completely an astute word nerd with a fondness forlovely more geekish internet technical minded people and rate everything that reaches my senses of sight and sound from 1 Starbucks to the next and quite possibly become a more international coffee connesseuer now that my mind is completely off of this one chick is no longer standing and blocking my doorway preventing me from leaving my house to get my coffee and social skills in places not homebound all sheltered and cut off from life around me I should ask women that work at Starbucks why they like working at Starbucks and let them do the surveys...

So this is the 2nd time I asked for an iced guava passion tea. This is also the 2nd time they've given me an Iced Passion Tango Tea. They are 2 different drinks. I finally Said something today and she said they don't carry guava.... but the drink she gave me "Has Guava in it". So here I am looking up the starbucks menu and ingredients to make sure I'm not crazy. I'm not. So These cute little batistas are just whipping up random drinks and serving them to the customers. I like the tango tea... but I like guava more....
