I've been coming here for a little over 1 year now but I gotta let you know that the quality of the cooked tacos and service has been subpare lately. Only on the grilled food side that I have experienced not so good service ,having had words with one of the new cooks who transfered from another location 2 weeks ago about what I wanted in my carne asada tacos now when I come in I ordered the same thing all the time but again he argued with me about what I can't put on my food. Also I have noticed that for the last 3 or 4 times that I purchased the same carne asada tacos the meat quality and seasonings has been bland. Now I don't know what has happened back because it's not good anymore. I remember how excited I was because I finally found a store not to far from my house that prepared good cooked food. One thing that I can say is that the cashiers and most of the employees who works in the raw meat department has and still is very helpful. I'm sad because it looks like I'm going to have to go all the way back to Rancho Market on 35th and Glendale Ave just to get some good cooked food again. I that YOU the Owner or Store Manager read this and make some adjustments because I know that I'm not the only customer who has experienced this type of service. FYI every time I do shop at you establishment I average between $50-$70 and only because I purchased a lot of other...
Read moreI visited this store to purchase a few items and had a very negative experience with the men working behind the hot food counter. They assumed I did not understand Spanish and began making derogatory remarks about non-Mexican customers, as well as inappropriate comments about women. Shortly after, two of the men directed comments at me personally, mocking my hair and race. One employee, whose name I did not catch, was particularly disrespectful and made me uncomfortable. This type of behavior is unprofessional, offensive, and discriminatory. No customer should be subjected to racism, harassment, or inappropriate treatment while shopping. Please proceed carefully where you spend your time and money. This business is not acceptable and should never be allowed to exist. The people here are just hateful and ignorant. No star is deserved...
Read moreWalking into this place was like walking into a theme park for someone on keto like me. Lately I’ve desired carnitas: the proper way, in a bag and sold by the pound instead of as some “plate” at a fast food place. So today I decided to search “carniceria” for the first time since moving to the neighborhood. I am SO glad I did. Not only is it less than two miles away, but the place is large, airy, bright, clean. A back wall of refrigerated meats in various marinades and cuts, a wall of hot options available by the pound, and even more items in the center. There was also a beautiful display of fresh pastries to the right of the entrance I didn’t notice til we left. I will definitely be back to sample more. Boyfriend got chile rellenos and he loved them. I’m still eating my bag of carnitas lol. Looks like a great place to...
