2.5 stars but not an option. I don't ask for much when I go out. I want to be greeted when I walk-in. I want to know daily specials. I want to be up sold on add ons, drinks and etc. And I like attentive servers/staff. Tonight I received none of the above. It all felt forced, as if they're just going thru the motions and not caring and that's fine, but fake it. Check averages will be higher, in turn higher tips and I'll get that warm, fuzzy feeling like my choice in dining for that evening was a good one. Food was good. Lack of seasoning was apparent but appealing to the masses is understandable. Onions were everywhere and I mean everywhere. Included is a photo of the fajitas. Those are all onions left. Still a full plate. Also got the quesadilla. Steak was tender but not seasoned. The portion was BIG. I even found a whole sauteed onion half in there. Not kidding. I was actually impressed. So many layers to gaze upon and dissect. Had jalapeno cream cheese with it but not really throughout, just kind of forced in the middle, without really knowing why it was invited to begin with. Will I go again? Maybe, but to the other location.

When you first come into the restaurant the hallways that lead to the seating can be a bit narrow, but then it opens up into a cozy room with plenty of room to sit. There’s a lot to choose from on the menu, and it was hard to choose what I wanted to order because everything sounded amazing. I ended up choosing the grilled fish platter with a sprite as my drink. The food was delicious. The fish fell apart in my mouth, and the sauce they put on top was mouth-watering. They also have complimentary chips and salsa that they put out for guests. The chips come out freshly made, and they regularly refill them. If you’re wondering if this place has a decent kids menu, there’s quite a few options on it to choose from. Overall, there’s something here to please everyone, from the picky eater to the adventurous taste tester. The staff were also nice and checked in on us frequently. TLDR: the food is great, lots of menu options, great atmosphere, and the staff are amazing.

This was such a disappointing visit - we have always come here and had a great meal. Tonight, we were seated after a short wait, but between being sat at our table and receiving our food was a full hour. Then, after being advised to get the fundido, two members at our table ordered it with grilled chicken. Sadly, as can be seen in these pictures, they looked completely different. One was lathered in the jalepeno cream cheese and melted cheese on it, and the other looked white and crusty and the lettuce was brown. When the server was notified, she said she didn’t know why the kitchen did that. If it was made like this, it’s the kitchens fault but the server should not have brought it. I asked for a side of the cream cheese but it was extremely unappetizing served on its own - it looked like a clump of butter- and there was no other solutions offered. I didn’t ask for it to be remade since we’d already waited an hour.

This place is one we go back to time and time again. Their salsa is made fresh in-house every day and tastes so good we have to stop and remind ourselves that we have food coming! They have the medium that is nice and chunky, and a smooth hot sauce. The ambience is very nice and there are a lot of little details sprinkled around the different rooms. The one we were in was a bit crowded but still comfortable. The wait to get a table is usually a bit longer here, but is definitely worth it. Our server, Bert, was very friendly. Our buser, Nick -had amazing customer service and we found out he was brand new! The only negative, was that the side of beans for the fajitas were lukewarm. When we asked, they said this is “how they are because they bake them.” I don’t remember this being a problem in the past, so I think it was just a fluke. We still would definitely recommend this place.

Me and my boy blue after a great day of working, cleaning artificial grass in Scottsdale, wants to get that hunger craving satisfied with some amazing authentic Mexican, so I said I know just where to go…Valle Luna! As a kid, my parents would bring the family here to just eat the best food in AZ! Well, sure did not fall short as it was spot on, Chimi dinner always a home run, and my son with the Sonora enchilada, which he loved! Devin, our waiter…top notch, kind great spirit and very accommodating making sure we were full and happy and made sure the drinks were full for thirst! It’s only clear why this amazing restaurant is running like clockwork! Keep up the great service and food, a legacy that keeps getting better as the years pass. Being a business owner and teaching my kids, you all set a fine example quality in all areas!

By far the best Mexican food restaurant I've been to in the 34 years I've lived in Phoenix AZ. The atmosphere Awesome very welcoming the employees are helpful and kind willing to answer any question you have. You can go in and sit directly in the bar area or you can wait for a table in the dining Room, if your in a hurry you can order food to go and pick it up curbside if you need to. If I had to recommend something to eat it would most definitely be the Sizzling fajitas, shrimp and chicken or just one of them. The fundido is a Pretty tasty dish If I don't say so myself. I get the number 5 Taco enchiladas anf tostada rice and beans. There's always a bowl of hot tortilla chips with awesome salsa and or hot sauce. You got locations on 33rd Avenue and bell and Cave Creek road and Greenway Parkway. Hope to See you there ✌🙂
