Pita Jungle — Restaurant in Phoenix

Took my husband here for dinner and was terrible. Waiter, management and food. Will not be going back. So unprofessional!!! I ordered the salmon burger with a Greek side salad when it was ready it sat up in the window under the heat lamp, my salad was on the plate very small portion when it came to the table the salad was wilted my salmon burger was paper thin and only was in one side of bun with the other side with on piece of a chunk. The manager came over to see if everything was ok and I showed him he agreed that it wasn’t supposed to look like that and took it back to the cook and said when he came back that he personally pick out a salmon patty for me and it Wallis be good which I never saw him do that. In the mean time my husband continues to eat his dinner and was done and my dinner still doesn’t come out. The manager now is Lolly gagging around and never makes an attempt to check on my food since he was the one that was supposedly taken care of it. Now sometime later my plates comes up and sits again under the heat lamp our waiter comes to the table and says he see it and will grab it he then takes care of his other tables and never brings my food to me then he asked a bus boy to grab it and bring it to the table. Now my sales is in a bowl dressing on the side and when he brings it to me the dressing is spilled all over my plate all over the burger and says I’m sorry. Now my husband sits and watches me eat and im upset because my burger is now drenched in dressing. And I said I’m just gonna have them take this back and take it off the bill. Well I eat the burger no bun and picked at the salad. The manager that was supposedly taken care of the issue never comes back to check on me. When we got the bill it was almost &50. They didn’t even take off the dinner. We were so upset and paid and left. We will not be going back. There are plenty of restaurants near by that will get our money I felt sick afterwards for trying to go out for a nice night and turned out...

I've been in the hospitality business for 6 years now, so I know good service. Going the extra mile for guests was ingrained in my training at the Ruth's Chris Steakhouse in Nashville and Tampa. I've eaten at this Pita Jungle twice now, and after my last experience there, I won't be visiting it again. The first time around the service was okay, but we waited 15 mins to pay our check once we had it. The server was over on side, in plain view, doing her sidwork and rolling silverware. Ended up speaking to the manager and she seemed like she could careless about our experience. The second time around, the server was friendly, but obviously inexperienced. Our food took about 25 minutes to get to us (the restaurant was NOT busy) and my pizza was warm, which leads me to believe it was sitting under a heater for a few minutes. The food was delivered by the bartender (not server) and I asked her if she could flag him down so I could order a glass of wine with my meal. 10 minutes later, he shows up and I order the wine. Waited another 7 minutes until I finally went up to the bartender and got my glass of wine, which had been sitting there in her station. Again, the bar and restaurant was NOT busy, a few tables max and a handful of people at the bar. I was done with my food and my family was in a rush to leave, so I basically had to down my wine. I usually am hyper-observant of what goes on in a restaurant and I will give the server or staff plenty of grace if I see that they're busy. I've been here before many times , and would rate this place 5stars in most occasions but sadly my girlfriend came home complaining how she didn't eat all day and she asked for Taco Bell which is NEVER so I said you know what lets go to Pita Jungle! Good idea right? We sit , order , and our food comes, it's great as usual and then a black bug goes from one edge of the table to the other! Then it goes up the salsa bottle and I kill it! Continue to eat and I notice how my appetite was lost and my girlfriend tells me the same just shortly after as the food wasn't so good after all. Our waiter never was convinced our drink was half empty instead it was half full. (Full with ice) Moments later we receive boxes and the drinks finally gets poured and the people next to us get their check and our stuff is boxed and the check never comes as that is the only thing I'm waiting on! They pay, and leave and we are still waiting. I tell my gf ,Ten days, later If she's ready to go and she asked if I paid and I said yes so we get up and tell the clerk I still need to pay as she tell me have a good day! I still paid my 25$ bill and I left unsatisfied!
