My husband and I tried using our Ace member rewards coupon this morning (August 12th) but our coupon was rejected. The cashier couldn’t resolve the issue, so he called for the floor manager or supervisor, not sure which she was, if any. This woman would not listen to us, as we tried explaining the situation. We had used a similar coupon in Ashland just days ago, with no problem. She was arrogant and rude to us both. She has no idea of the concept of “Customer Service”. She told us to go shop at Ace Hardware in Ashland if we weren’t satisfied! Can you imagine? We refused the merchandise and waited for our refund. And quietly walked out of the store, amazed at the treatment we had just experienced.

This is inexcusable behavior. We will never return to this store. You have lost the business of two new Talent residents. Ashland Hardware provides excellent customer service and friendly, helpful associates - every time we shop there. Perhaps you should reconsider replacing rude employees before you lose...

As a life long black bird customer, the Phoenix location is okay at best. My experience today solidified I will probably never go back into this location with the exception to bath my dog. My daughter and I were waiting for a reservation at a nearby resteraunt and decided to browse the store. Almost immediately after entering the store, there was an elderly gentleman that walked step by step row by row behind us as if we were going to take something that didn't belong to us. I understand asset prevention is very important to businesses everywhere, but it felt extremely uncomfortable. After we made our purchase, my 16 year old daughter asked why we were being followed the whole time we were in the store. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly and knowledgeable staff who genuinely love what they do.
