Everytime I visit Pheonix I look forward to go and pick up some Iranian bread at this store, however this time the experience made me feel so upset. I called before getting to the store to make sure they had bread baked so I dnt have to wait so I can make it to the airport for my flight safely and I was assured that is not a problem since we have baked enough. I get there and ask at the cashier for 4 bread and this older lady very loudly says you have to wait since we need to bake some, and I got curious to ask since the other person on the phone was so confident that they have enough bread that I just mentioned that I called earlier before getting here to make sure you guys have enough so I dnt have to wait and at this point she just starts screaming in a rude tone that customers bought it all and you have to wait!!! I told her I just mentioned that because I was told over the phone there is enough bread and just come and she still continuos to scream at me. I was not even loud or rude or anything while mentioning all this, I was so shocked by their customer service and how they treat their customers!!! I had not ever encountered such an arrogant and rude behavior before from any local business. I felt humilated by her screaming on top of her lungs at me in front of everyone that I had to walk out of the store although I had planned to do some more persian grocery shopping from this store. If you do not have social skills of how to have human interaction please stay in the back rather than screaming at customers! I am still wondering why she was so rude to me when all I did was I just asked...
Read moreRIP OFF ALERT. Got Kale Pache form this place, frozen one. I said it will be 10-15 dollars for it. The lady put it on and charged me 28.72 I am like I am sorry how much. Everything here is over priced, I can understand it they were bringing it from another state with Cheese and Ice Cream and Cookies. But something like Olivia which costs nothing to make, since you are making it in house you wanna charge 7.99 a pound. Bread for the love of god, 3.99 for a Round Taftoon. See places like this will always take advantage until a competition comes across the street that is why Monopoly is illegal in the US. Looking forward to California Grocery store to come and open a location and take all the customers away from this location. Maybe then they will start lowering the prices to help...
Read moreAzam is by far one of the rudest and most unprofessional employees I’ve ever dealt with. They have zero respect for customers, act annoyed when you ask for help, and make you feel like you’re bothering them just for shopping there. Instead of being welcoming, Azam is condescending, impatient, and flat-out disrespectful. It’s shocking that a grocery store would allow someone with such a bad attitude to work directly with customers. On top of that, the quality of the store has gone downhill. The bread is always burnt and dry, the deli food tastes bland and greasy, and nothing has the freshness or quality it used to have. The store used to be one of my favorites, but with Azam’s behavior and the declining standards, I honestly avoid...
