One-Star Review for Sushi Brokers Scottsdale I dined at Sushi Brokers Scottsdale on Tuesday, March 11th, and this was hands-down the worst dining experience I’ve had in a long time. The restaurant was busy as usual, but I was in the area waiting for a print job at FedEx and decided to give them another chance, despite a previous underwhelming visit. I ordered miso soup, a small fried rice (no meat), spring rolls, and a Las Vegas roll. The miso soup was the best part—everything else was a disaster. The spring rolls arrived soggy and smashed, with a lingering bad taste of oil. They were clearly frozen and not properly crisped. The fried rice was not fried at all—just white rice drenched in soy sauce, topped with cabbage and a few carrot chunks, completely lacking the signature fried egg. I watched the sushi being prepared and could tell the itamae (sushi chef) lacked experience. The Las Vegas roll was inedible—soggy tempura, zero flavor, just an overall disappointment. I ended up taking most of the food home but couldn’t even bring myself to eat it later. The only redeeming factor was my wonderful waitress, who I tipped 18% despite my usual rule against tipping when the food is this bad. She even offered to remove the spring rolls from my bill, but I didn’t want to make a scene. For over $50, I left hungry and completely dissatisfied. I was so disappointed that I even mentioned my awful experience at FedEx afterward. I will never return.

Title: "Exceptional Service and Delicious Sushi Rolls at Sushie Brokers" I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sushie Brokers, and I must say that it was an amazing experience from start to finish. Our waitress, Nina, truly elevated our dining experience with her extensive knowledge of the menu and her genuine concern for our satisfaction. Her excellent service made our visit truly memorable. The highlight of our meal was the Surfer Roll, which I highly recommend to anyone visiting the restaurant. The combination of flavors and freshness made it a standout dish. Additionally, the Las Vegas Roll was a delightful surprise, and it perfectly complemented the Surfer Roll. In addition to the sushi rolls, we also enjoyed the flavorful fried rice with chicken, which was seasoned to perfection. The potstickers were also a hit, perfectly crispy on the outside and filled with delicious savory goodness inside. Overall, Sushie Brokers exceeded my expectations in both food quality and service. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience. I will definitely be returning to try more of their delectable offerings. Sushie Brokers, with its outstanding service and delectable dishes, has earned a top spot on my list of favorite dining establishments. I can't wait to return for another memorable meal!

I can't tell you how many times I drove past this place over the years and said to myself "I should try it sometime." Well, I finally tried Sushi Brokers, and I am disappointed in myself for missing out all these years! There isn't much natural light in the restaurant. It didn't bother me, it was just something I noticed. I went for their specialty rolls and got hot lips, surf and turf, and the gus (forget the full name). All of the rolls were unique and amazing. The surf and turf was probably my favorite, boasting steak, onion, and mushrooms that tasted fresh off the grill and into my mouth. All three rolls hit the palate differently and made for a great dining experience. I have to say, this is the best sushi spot I've been to in North Scottsdale that doesn't have the rotating chain. It can get expensive quick if you're ordering a lot of the rolls (I did all specialty), but the quality and taste made it all worth it. -K

My family of 4, that dine here 2 to 3 times a month for the last few years tried to have dinner here last night, we were quoted a 45 minute wait and received a text confirmation. We patiently sat right outside the door waiting, we watched the tables that had been waiting before us be sat, when it should have been our turn to be seated, the party of 3 that had only been waiting about 15 minutes was called up, that’s when I approached the hostess stand, we had been waiting 55 minutes at this point. The hostess who had walked past us multiple times outside to talk to her 3 friends who had only been waiting 15 minutes, were bragging about being moved to the top of the list. When I asked how much longer our wait would be, she looked over her list and could “not” find our name, then she said oh we text you and you had 5 minutes to come in and you didn’t, so sorry there’s nothing I can do. REALLY?!? We never received a text saying our table was ready and when we showed her she just shrugged as her 3 friends were going to be sat right in front of us! Seriously unbelievable and so disappointing!! Your waiting system glitched or failed and she didn’t even try to make it right. She literally took our name and walked past us MULTIPLE times!! Like I said we come here often and will not be returning. Please do better by...
