Nothing Bundt Cakes — Restaurant in Scottsdale

Scottsdale Location Nothing Bundt Cakes product is fabulous!!! I gave 2 stars of perfection for the product! But CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EVERYTHING PEOPLE!!!! I will never again go to the Scottsdale location. I've not had a good experience there yet. I had ordered nearly $100.00 worth of their products before I saw another customer use a punch card. I had to ask for a punch card it was not offered. I let them know I had already had a few orders with them, but i was still only permitted the one punch for the current order. They could look me up to verify, I had logged in for each purchase, but okay, you snooze you lose. Let it go. I make many purchases at this location because I work for a large hospital and we have many meetings, I asked for a card that identifies the flavor of buntinis in the box, since its difficult to tell just by looking, and I was told...."We don't have that. I can tell you what they are if you want to write it down." However, EVERY time my mother orders buntinis from the Arrowhead location, they give her the card to identify the flavors.... okay, let it go. Last order 4/10 for delivery to the large hospital, I used a phone number to call for contact that is not on my account, so I would be sure to get the call and meet the driver outside, so they didnt have to come IN to the hospital due to COVID. I called and asked, "when the delivery driver comes..." I was immediately cut off and told the driver is out we don't know what time they'll be at your exact location... I said, "okay but the instructions say It will be delivered at curbside but I work for xxxx and want to be there to meet the driver," before I could continue the person put the phone to the side and said to another employee... she works for xxxx and is asking about how she meets the driver when they get there... the other employee answered in an irritated tone... "We're not going to run all over the hospital looking for her!!!!" I finally completed my sentence by saying... "The phone number I put in the delivery instructions, is different from the number on my account! I want to know if the driver will call the number in the delivery instructions!!!" Last straw... NOT COOL!!!!! Finally, delivery driver refused to punch...

I would have given 1 Star, but I really love the cakes here. I generally have a great experience at this location, but that was not the case on Saturday, September 15th. I wish I knew the name of the lady that helped me because she was SO rude to me. I have never in my life been blatantly treated so badly in front of other people. It was my husband's birthday and I had ordered a cake online to be ready at 4:00p that Saturday afternoon. When we arrived a little after 5:00p, I was help by this woman that was walking out from the back with a bow that had the same colors that I requested, so I knew my cake was not ready. She went in the back to "check on it" and did not return until she had finished it. Almost 15 minutes later. She said that it wasn't wrapped that well and to be careful. I gave her my punch card and she said that they don't punch for cakes only bundtini's. I asked if I could have one for waiting so long, with attitude she answered, "ugh, I guess....". She looked at my card and was like, "is this even our card?" Followed by, "this won't happen again, it's a one time occurrence." Talking to me as if I was a child. I told her I understood and left close to 5:20pm. I had requested a typed message to be attached to the cake and never received it. I was so disappointed with my service at this location. I was humiliated when I walked out of there because by this point, there was a bunch of other people in the store. I understand that it was something that was not normally done, but I paid for a service and it was not fulfilled at the requested time and we had dinner reservations at 6:00pm. I hope that I will never have to deal with this woman again as she was so mean and rude to me for no reason. If you hate your job and people so much, maybe you should quit. Pick a different location. I say this because this location does not deserve the business the get treating their employees the way they do. I worked here and was basically forced to quit because i was removed from the schedule without ever being told. I’m not sure if their plan was to just ignore me until i got the hint or to tell me after they hired someone to take my place but either choice is unfair and unprofessional. When i asked for someone to explain what was going on to me and pleading for my hours/job, i was talked to rudely and treated completely unfair. I built great relationships with some of my coworkers which I now realize was the only plus. The workers are expected to go above and beyond even when getting treated poorly and not paid enough. There are no real breaks no matter how long your shift is and they only provide you with the hours you want for the first week before cutting them. You will get sent home early every other shift and then they will try to call you in on your days off when they should’ve just scheduled you that day in the first place. They lack respect for both the employees and the guests. And being the only Person of color and also being the only girl taken off the schedule looks very bad on their party especially because i wasn’t given a reason.The cakes are great but I would recommend supporting a different location because what goes on behind the scenes at this...
