Horrible experience! Called to get a quote on getting highlights, was told over the phone I’d be charged 65-75 dollars. Once I went in to get the highlights the lady had the nerve to charge me 95.00, Had I not said anything to her....she would have got away with over charging me. Seemed to me she was more preoccupied with gossiping with the lady she helped before me than to get me in and out when i had told her prior to appt that I had a time crunch. I was disappointed because I was there at 9am, my appt was at 10 when the hours are right by entrance saying the salon opens at 9am. I think the owner should either update their schedule by door or stop gossiping and do the job. She didn’t even put toner in my hair, I told her to stop.... I will never go back to this salon nor the other location. Over priced and bad...

Really good environment and the stylists have more than 20 years working there. Carmen the owner she very nice and does an awesome job. She is one the first Hispanic lady that open few hair salons and she well known for her tremendous experience. Silvia is not only good hair stylist but the nicest lady you will ever meet. She not only does my hair, but she has been great mentor and friend. If you go, you must go to the Spa, with the ultimate Duo; Yadira and Ana. Yadira is the best at permanent makeup and especially at eyebrows; as well as doing make up for special events. Ana is the nicest and very talented when comes to waxing as well as eye lashes.

I can not begin to share with you the great experience I had with getting my eyebrows done. The atmosphere was professional yet I felt safe as if I was at home. The business was clean, the air was at the right temperature and the customer service will forever be remembered. I will be back, I will tell others and invite them as well. The work that was done was very informative. Before she started, she always let me know what she was doing and why she was doing it. And some of the procedures she did she let me look at the example to make sure It would be okay to continue. I AM SO HAPPY WITH MY EYEBROWS! Last but not least, the conversation was wonderful. I highly recommend El Y Beauty Salon and Day Spa to everyone, you will not be disappointed.
