Modern Manor — Local services in Phoenix

This place has some really cool and beautiful pieces of furniture, but that’s about where it ends. Everything is insanely overpriced. I figured things would be expensive but wow, it’s insulting how much they’re charging for some of their items. A jacket was $165 and was damaged, possibly beyond repair. Regular pieces of furniture go for $1000+ with some going for many thousands of dollars. Unless you’re very well off, you won’t be able to afford anything here, and at that point, you may as well go buy something new. They have record bins for $5 a record unless priced otherwise, which caught my eye as the most affordable thing in the store. Most of the records are on the spine with the opening facing up so dust can get into the sleeves and onto the records. It also makes it challenging to look through and you can’t see the spines for the records on the shelves. I found a copy of Let It Be by The Beatles for $10 and decided to check the condition of the record. This was the worst looking record I’ve ever seen in my life. I genuinely don’t believe it would be playable. Insanely damaged and not even worth $1. If the sleeve was in better condition, maybe the album cover alone would be worth $10 but the sleeve was beat up too. Because of this, I can’t take this store seriously. Quite...

February 24 update I now realize in hindsight, I absentmindedly left my vaporizer on the counter while I went to get my smoke this can be seen as rude and like you were holding down a piece of real estate, which is not accepted in certain places, and I also might’ve gotten some vape into their open door while I stepped outside to smoke so when I vape in the neighborhood, I will make sure to see if the door is closed I need to quit smoking anyways and I am SMI with comorbidities for a young person My doctor has been telling me for years and I won’t do anything about it. 🤣

The owners of this place are absolutely horrible. They should be ashamed of themselves. They don't ever answer the phone or return calls. If you show up to the store during business hours, the doors are locked but employees are inside and they just ignore you completely. How little pride do you have to have in your business that you can't even stick to the pathetic hours you do have. The disrespect for your customers...
