Fresh, crisp, organic produce. Amazing selection of gluten-free AND dairy-free options from breads to desserts to frozen foods...blows away ALL other stores in the valley, including Whole Foods! My eyes popped when I saw the MANY kinds and styles of dairy-free cheeses! Every time I go in something is on sale.

Like brewed ginger beer? They have at least 8-10 brands with many flavors in bottles, cans, whatever! Nutritional supplements galore, and knowledgeable nutritionists happy to assist you for free. I stopped buying online and now buy from them...I've really missed handling the bottles and getting my questions answered real-time. Turns circles around Healthy Habit for variety. In store seminars, too. I first experienced them in Colorado and waited 5 years for them to come down here.

Need personal products w/o fragrance or additives? Natural Grocers has large selections of skin and hair care for sensitive people. Even selections of organic hats, socks, make-up, etc. If you like or require Organic, Natural Grocers is the place for you...they are the ONLY grocer committed to non-GMO and organic products throughout the store. Neither Sprouts nor Whole Foods can claim that.

Not a single GMO item in the store! All products are researched carefully. Formerly Vitamin Cottage. It's a joy to not have to worry about the produce, as ALL is organic or sustainably grown. I rarely buy from Sprouts anymore...inferior company more interested in profits than customer satisfaction, pushing their own pricey brand while reducing other brand choices, taking out food isles to expand their liquor sales. Expensive pesticide and GMO produce (might as well buy from Food City). Their stores are loaded with corn syrup/high fructose corn syrup--can't find marshmallows w/o HFCS, while Natural Grocers doesn't sell HFCS. Big difference!

I had been wanting to check out this store for months & I was very pleased! I was fighting a cold & chest congestion for some time & treating it with natural remedies that had worked for me in the past. Unfortunately they were not working the same or my body was fighting a stronger strain.

Initially I went in solely to see what they carried & how their pricing was compared to Sprouts. Some items were a bit pricey in relation to food. Their supplements & vitamins were very reasonable. I purchased magnesium for less than $10 & melatonin for about $5. I asked for some assistance in their wellness section. The gentleman who came over was very friendly & when he could not answer a couple of my questions he called upon the in-house wellness consultant, Jaycee. She was incredibly knowledgeable & helpful. I explained that I did not understand why my body was struggling so long (I had been so for about a month) to get better. Usually the course of essential oils, supplements, & natural remedies would have kicked it out in a few days. She told me to spread out the different things I was taking so there was always something helping my body heal. This made such a HUGE difference & I had a Massive turnaround in only a couple of days! Everyone here is so awesome! All managers/assistant managers Chris, Larry, Anthony, Doug, Aldo, and Terrel are very professional and very knowledgeable of the products on their shelves. Anna lee, the store's nutrition specialist helped me with all of the different questions I bought to the table. The rest of the stores associates don't fall short of amazing... Grace, Kat, Rebecca, Analise and Caitlin are great communicators and seem to work effortlessly bouncing between stocking product and produce, running the registers, and helping customers with basic AND in-depth q&a. The general energy @ this store is incomparable to any grocery store I've been to. I'd hate to sound like I'm overselling it, but I can't even begin to explain how much I appreciate the level of professionalism and pride this team takes with all they do and their customers happy smiling faces just go to show how awesome all of them are. Besides the great staff you'll find that the prices are lower here than other like stores. Truly a great experience every time I go, they also hold informative classes a few times a month, I recommend this place to anyone. I could go on and on but I think by now you get my point.
