First was introduced to Mojo when looking for an Airbnb property in Scottsdale during the super bowl. I was looking for a property that could fit all of my extended family and friends comfortably. When looking on Airbnb, I ran across one of their property listings that was extremely thorough with the multitude of pictures and information that it included. A couple of the main things I look for when trying to find a property to stay at is quality assurance, ease of stay, and finding a property that makes it feel like a home away from home.
The check in process and communication from the Mojo team was perfect and made everything extremely easy. They used a guest app that automated everything and included all the information that I needed, and enhanced our stay significantly. We were able to choose our check in time, all the information for check in and the property, access the property, and even purchase different enhancements like an in house chef and nightly cleans.
Overall, the stay was as close to perfect as it could've been. The property had no flaws, it was extremely clean, and the company reached out multiple times to make sure everything was going well.
At the time of the reservation, I was working at a consulting firm in Phoenix and focused on operations of different companies. I was so impressed with the operations of this company, that I built a more in depth relationship with the Mojo team to learn about how they created the processes that they had. Believe it or not, this relationship led to me joining the Mojo team as a part time consultant, and later joining full time. This story of how I got to this point has been a wild one, but it's a testament to the Mojo team and the service that they provide.

Read moreI recently made a reservation through Mojo for an Airbnb property. While the house itself was visually appealing, particularly the backyard, our stay was marred by several inconveniences.
Upon arrival, which was an hour past the designated check-in time, we were unable to access the property due to not receiving the check-in pin. Additionally, the house was uncomfortably warm, with the master bedroom remaining particularly hot throughout our stay. This forced my family and me to relocate to the living room in search of cooler air.
Despite reaching out to Mojo with these concerns, we did not receive a response for approximately 14 hours. Although they eventually provided fans to address the heat issue, other problems persisted. Several jets in the jacuzzi were non-functional, the pool light was not working, the propane tank for the advertised fireplace was empty, the television in the gazebo was inoperable, and the dishwasher emitted an unpleasant odor due to clogged water. Furthermore, the ceiling fan in the middle room was not functioning, and the Arcadia frame was broken, posing a tripping hazard when entering and exiting the property.
In response to these inconveniences, Mojo initially agreed to provide a 15% inconvenience fee refund. However, upon further review, they only reimbursed 15% of the cost for a single night, despite the fact that I had paid nearly $900 for a subpar experience. The refund amount totaled a mere $61.80.
