Jennifer at photo and the manager Keri smoke right outside the building polluting everyone's lungs (some ppl are there for prescriptions with lung issues), and when they over hear you talking about getting your infant away from the toxic air they're creating, one of thet laughs like it's a joke. Did I threaten her, I most certainly did! I don't take my health lightly or my childs'. Apparently they think it's a giant game. I go inside to complain and Jennifer has the nerve to stare at me and say inaudible dialogue.. so yeah, I shot her the bird, which is less than she deserved, BTW, so SHE threatens to call the police, like I care. I spent the last 15 years in a city in California where you can actually get arrested for smoking cigarettes. I don't know what kind of unhealthy, inconsiderate people live in Mississippi or what kind of health laws they have here, but I was outraged at the lack of consideration and care for my child's health and my own. Anyone who thinks that is a joke should not be allowed to walk this Earth, let alone poison ppl trying to do business with the establishment in which they are employed. I will most likely get my prescriptions elsewhere from now on and let everyone I know in on the ignorance and unempathetic, and down right careless attitude and actions of these ingrate ppl. I've been there a hundred times and never have I been so shocked at the lack of respect for another life. Cigarette smokers are the most inconsiderate individuals and these women should be ashamed of themselves for making an innocent shopper defend her and her child's health the way I had to. I sincerely hope no one else is hurt by these women, as many have issues breathing and are there for medication for such illness. They should NOT be allowed to smoke where customers readily park and enter the store, they should have to smoke by the dumpsters, where they belong, until Mississippi catches up with the rest of the world in adopting safe air laws. UPDATE: Jason, the general manager, took care of the situation and was vigilant in contacting me and speaking with me. He apologized for their behavior and said they would be dealt with accordingly....
Read moreThe store front is closed and curve side pick up is not available. I am trying to pick up medication for my mom who is 95 and suffering from painful shingles. I received a call from Walgreens indicating that her prescription was ready for pick up. I called the pharmacy and was told I needed to wait in a 40 car line because they were filling prescriptions for Hurricane Ida evacuees and they did not have the man power to open the store, which I can understand! But not to even offer curve side pick ups for an elderly customer that has been buying from them from years and is suffering from awful pain is simply not compassionate at all. The pharmacist also refused to send the prescription to nearby Walmart which was wide open and serving customers efficiently. I was told they could not do a thing and I need to wait in line and if they close by the time is my turn then I need to try my luck by tomorrow. In the meantime, my mother is suffering from agonizing pain. This is the worst kind of customer service. The manager, Max Smith, yelled and cursed at a nurse in the middle of the parking lot! He told the nurse that he felt like he was also battling covid when she asked to please sell her toiletries and explained she just got out of a 4 day back to back shift caring for covid patients. How can he even compare! What an insult! As soon as I can I will be moving all my prescriptions to a...
