Rent-A-Center — Local services in Picayune

I don’t know how i reviewed this place and had given it four stars!?! Because i won’t ever rent from this place and would not recommend them to my worst enemy!!! I paid for a pair a stove an fridge online ($10 i will never see again!!!) an a week later was told i didn’t qualify as a renter because i was paid in cash!!! An the see you next Tuesday i dealt with on the phone i wouldn’t spit on if she was on fire!!! She was beyond rude an just so judgmental!! I could hear it in her tone over the phone! Well Lil girl you wouldn’t be glad to know since then seven months ago i opened an account with babers and it May cost a little more a week but that’s ok with me because Elliot the manager knows me by name an is awesome! I haven’t been late only once that was on my birthday when i was out of town! He appreciates my business and doesn’t make me feel less than, or feel like I’m a nuisance to him!!! Like she did and i never got the ten dollars back from paying to start an account online!! So...

I placed an order online at 9 pm at night on May 1 ,2024 to be called the next morning May 2, 2024 requesting I come in to complete my application and also to be to told that the freezer I ordered online that shows available in store for delivery may 10,2024 will take 4 weeks to come and I also can't cancel the rental agreement or get a refund even though none of the information they provided during the phone call can be found anywhere not even the Website, a refund was requested within 24 hours because the appliance couldn't be provided in a timely manner. Now, another store can't even help me because the picayune store has me trapped in a contract that's not even a contract because none of my information was ever verified like income or address they don't even have an ID on file for the application. They say it's a special order item but it doesn't say that ANY WHERE AT ALL. IT ACTUALLY SAYS AVAILABLE INVENTORY NOT SPECIAL...

Awful, incompetent manager, absolute nightmare to deal with! Ordered a piece of furniture weeks ago, no notice it was delivered, finally get a call asking if I still want it?? Of course I do so we setup a delivery time FOR THAT DAY! I leave work early NO DELIVERY, I call “oh that was for tomorrow at 5” fast forward to the next day at 5, NO DELIVERY!! Finally 6:30 p.m I get a call “are you ready for your delivery?” I was home at 5! Waited until 6 and I had to go! Oh well that’s all the deliveries we have this week, you wanna just send it back? NO!… absolutely the most incompetent, unmotivated human I’ve ever dealt with, his job should be replaced with a .99 cent app! Go to Rooms to go or for my local friends go to Aaron’s! Skip this place unless you just wanna send it back...
