I never leave reviews but I finally was able to get my hair redone after I went to Solluni over 6 months ago. When I went in I was nervous and had previously explained I don’t dye my hair often and had poor experiences in the past. I told them I wanted either highlights or a balayage of some kind. I had dark brown hair at the time said I wanted to go lighter and showed a picture of a brunette with almost an ombré where it was incredibly light on the bottom. My hairdresser immediately got to work. 2 hours and $285 later she had dyed my two feet of hair blonde/orange and left the roots dark brown. When she was done i felt too bad to complain paid, tipped, and left. When my fiancé saw me he couldn’t believe how orange, damaged, and off my hair was from the picture I had shown. Little to no toner, no placement, my hair was covered in bleach and turned almost a hay orange color. I have had to get hair treatments since, had to cut my hair I had been growing out for years. It was so visibly bad I was shocked they allowed me to even walk out. I was able to go back to my old salon and today I was finally able to get my hair back to brown without any serious damage. After serious thought I decided to let others know. I was shocked On so many levels, the price you pay, the reviews, you assume you walk out flawless, but my story was the polar opposite. My girlfriend had referred me to them and told me all of their customers are long standing ones. Maybe dark to light isn’t their thing, maybe she was having a bad day, I have no idea but the amount of damage done to my hair was horrendous and I would want to know before going to a salon of all reviews positive...
Read moreWhen I moved to Baltimore, I knew I had to begin that long, stressful search for a trusted hairdresser. My sister told me about Eunhee so I took a leap of faith and made an appointment. And I thank my lucky stars I did! She made my hair look as good and healthy as it has ever been. She is a true master. Ten years later, she is the only one I trust with my hair. She listens to my hair needs and habits and maintains a professional yet kind manner.
The staff at Solluni are all extremely nice and accommodating. They go out of their way to make sure I have snacks, tea, etc. The salon is designed with tastefully modern elements and a zen, calming aura which I love.
Best of all, the products Eunhee makes, sells, and uses are vegan, gluten-free and organic. Popular shampoos often contain parabens, sodium, sulfates, and synthetic fragrances which cause damaged hair and exposure to unhealthy chemicals. Eunhee’s vegan, organic shampoos do not exploit animals, are free of man-made additives and chemicals, add minerals and natural oils to the hair and scalp to maintain moisture and stay healthy. I strongly urge you to stash your household with her haircare products because when you use vegan shampoos as an alternative to the brand-named ones you are contributing to a more...
Read moreLove this salon! A wonderful place with the most inviting, relaxing atmosphere and the best stylists. My sister-in-law first introduced me to Eunhee seven years ago, and she is the only person I've let touch my hair ever since. I never tell her what I want done, because she always cuts and creates something that makes me feel and look amazing. She is one of the loveliest people I've ever met, so warm, gracious and kind - and that feeling translates to the energy of salon and the experience you have each time you visit. It's just fabulous. Solluni also gave my girls their first haircuts (thanks Brittany!) and I wouldn't go anywhere else, ever. Plus the products they sell are healthy, safe and make you feel good when using them. Call, book an appointment and go see for yourself.. guarantee you'll...
