The massage service itself is regular. I have been to better places where they do actually provide better treatment. The issue here is the fact that they pressure you into more services. We asked for chair and ended up faced down, because it was the "same price." Five minutes into the massage, we were "too tensed" and needed more "time" which ended up meaning "more people" (4) conducting the massage. Obviously at pay time it was a lot more than the initial $76.00 and it ended up being $240.00. The money is no issue, we have paid massages of $350.00, the issue was that we were forced into tipping regardless. They would not allow us to put the card into the reader until we agreed to tipping because "four people work on you." We never authorized 4 people only "more time." Regardless, we had to pay a tip to the 4 employees and then pay with a card that included an outrageous $8.50 fee. In China it is very uncommon to leave a tip let alone demand one and it seems to be culturally demeaning to do so (so we have been told by our Chinese friends), therefore I will venture to say it is not a cultural difference. We are unsure why they did this with such level of verbal aggression. I would give less than one star but it is impossible. I do not recommend to use their services. This is the worst massage experience we ever...
Read moreI've been coming here for years and always liked their services. But recently with most Chinese mall massage places, they've all employed a two men tactic to get more money out of their customers. Oner person would perform whatever services you ask for, but another one always wants to give you an extra leg/ feet message.
I don't like to have my legs or feet massaged because that's not where I usually have the pain. I am also ticklish at my feet. But today, while just starting to have a 60 minutes deep tissue massage on my neck & back, the second person would not go away when I try to decline the feet service. I have to say "No, I don't want that" three time but he kept on grabbing my legs. So that finally enrages me and had to yell at them to stop and left.
This is poor way to please a customer who is tensed up with back pain. This kind of extra service...
