A Fantastic Italian Feast at Buca di Beppo! 🇮🇹
From the moment we stepped into Buca di Beppo, we knew we were in for a treat. The atmosphere is absolutely vibrant and full of character—every wall, every corner, every detail is designed to transport you straight to Italy. The decor is colorful, charming, and full of personality, making the entire dining experience feel warm and inviting. You can tell that every inch of the place, from floor to ceiling, was thoughtfully designed to give that authentic Italian touch.
Now, let’s talk about the food—because wow, it was beyond delicious! We started with the freshly baked bread, warm and soft, perfect for dipping into the rich blend of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Something so simple yet so satisfying—it set the perfect tone for the meal.
For our main dishes, we went all out and ordered a true Italian feast: lasagna, eggplant parmesan, chicken Marsala, pasta, and fried calamari. Each dish was bursting with flavor! The lasagna was layered beautifully with rich sauce and gooey cheese, the eggplant parmesan had that perfect crispy texture with just the right amount of sauce, and the chicken Marsala was tender and coated in a flavorful, slightly sweet Marsala wine sauce. The fried calamari was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, an absolute must-try. And of course, the pasta was cooked to perfection, rich and comforting in every bite.
Everything paired perfectly with the red sangria, which was spot on—fruity, refreshing, and balanced just right.
One of the things we love most about Buca di Beppo is that everything is served family-style, meaning the portions are huge—perfect for sharing! We even had plenty of leftovers to enjoy the next day, which is always a bonus.
And then, the grand finale: tiramisu. Oh. My. God. It was absolutely incredible—light, creamy, with just the right amount of espresso flavor and that perfect balance of sweetness. The ideal way to end an already fantastic meal.
To top it all off, the service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and making sure we had everything we needed.
If you’re looking for delicious Italian food, a fun and lively atmosphere, and a true Italian experience, Buca di Beppo is a must-visit. Whether you’re with family, friends, or on a date, it’s the perfect place to share an amazing meal. We can’t...
Read moreTerrible Experience – Ruined Birthday Celebration
We went to this restaurant yesterday to celebrate the birthday of two people who are visiting the United States. For the first time, we carefully planned everything. We called ahead and made a reservation for a table of ten people. We asked what time we could make the reservation, and we were told that 9:00 PM was available. We then asked if we could change it to 9:30 PM, and we were told that was fine.
During the call, we also asked what time the restaurant would close. We were informed that the restaurant closes at 11:00 PM, and we could order food until 9:30 PM. As for drinks, we were told we could continue ordering them until 11:00 PM.
At exactly 9:30 PM, we asked for another round of drinks. The waiter then told us that he couldn’t bring anything else. We were still waiting for our food at that point. I personally went to speak to the manager and explained the entire situation – that it was a birthday celebration, a special occasion, and that we had clarified all of this earlier in the day by phone.
The manager was completely rude and showed zero empathy for the situation. He offered no solution, and instead asked me if I wanted to cancel all the food. The food was about to be served, and we ended up canceling everything. He ruined the night for everyone because he couldn’t manage the situation or find a better way to handle the customers. This was a table of ten people. Just imagine how he might treat a table of two or three.
I believe you seriously need to reconsider the person you have managing your restaurant. He clearly does not know how to handle adversity or deal respectfully with customers.
Unfortunately, we used to come here almost every year, more than ten times. You’ve now lost a loyal customer who brought many others to celebrate birthdays and even hosted a large company party at your restaurant. But I will never return – I will never set foot in this place again – all because of the way your manager treated us.
Let me make one thing clear: the waiter was simply doing his job and informed us as instructed. The real problem was entirely the manager, who made no effort to fix the situation and acted cold, disrespectful, and unfriendly from...
Read moreMy fiancé and I came to this restaurant for the first time today, we are from Canada, I may not be Italian but I am Ukrainian & I know good food when I try it… seeing some of the reviews, I completely agree, it was nothing special. Their portions are very generous but they all taste very similar & lack authentic flavour. Carrabba’s/Olive Garden is beyond better for flavour & service compared to Buca’s. Buca’s reminds me of Pizza Ranch Buffet or Cici’s pizza. Very bland! Might as well make Italian at home for a quarter of the price. Our server, Jessica, I believe, she was very neutral, she rarely interacted with us until the end (tip time) …she seemed to be occupied by other situations going on around her, she took our order, poured our water & served our food. I asked if I could have rose/vodka sauce instead of marinara, which she said was fine but never mentioned it would cost me $4.00 more. (Vodka sauce tastes like marinara & Alfredo mixed together, not authentic at all!) As she did explain our portions would be bigger, which is fine, we accepted that. But, for two people, our bill was $147.00 (with the exchange rate, that’s roughly… $200 Canadian), we left… to what we believed was a decent tip for the service we received. As we were leaving, our server came back to our table and pointed at the bottom of our receipt… stating the gratitude was circled at the bottom, insisting we should pay $20-$25 more. I was baffled. Again, reading another comment about someone trying to order off the kids menu & being denied, clearly shows, they want people to spend more money in order to receive bigger tips. On top of that, they requested to take photos of us to collect more money at the end of our dine in experience. We felt extremely uncomfortable, highly suggest going elsewhere. We do not recommend, we will never return nor will my family after hearing my experience & confirming they felt this way when they dined...
