Awful service, do not waste your time and money. We have been at the Florida Mall a lot of times and we have eaten in different restaurants and fast foods at the dinning pavilion but we had not tried the Steak Up before. We decided to try it; we made the order and at the time of payment, I saw that the amount on the register was not the same as the amount on the merchant machine (it was almost $3 more). As a result, I asked the cashier and her first answer was that it was the same amount but a told her the two amounts and showed her and she said that it is a fee that the machine charges because I am using a credit card to pay. I told her to cancel the order and she told me, then pay in cash. Honestly, I would never recommend this place nor I would go back there. Because I do know that it is legal for merchants to charge a convenience fee; it is not the machine itself but the small business owner that decides if he/she wants to charge the customer and most importantly; he/she has to notify before making the order. It is a very dishonest behavior to charge customers an additional convenience fee and not to inform them unless they ask at the end of the order or all the other people that do not even realize that they are being charge an additional fee and paging without consent. The Florida Mall has a bunch of different restaurants that are worth the value of food, money, and quality of service.
Convenience fees are legal in all 50 states but must be clearly communicated at the point of...
Read moreThe steak was prepared to perfection, cooked to the ideal level of doneness, and seasoned with a masterful touch. The moment I cut into it, I could see the juices glistening, and the aroma that wafted up was simply mouthwatering. Each bite was a revelation, a burst of rich, savory flavors that danced on my palate. It was, without a doubt, one of the juiciest and most divine steaks I've ever had the pleasure of enjoying.
But the excellence of this cafe doesn't end with the steak. The overall dining experience was exceptional. The ambiance was warm and inviting, providing the perfect backdrop for a memorable meal. Whether you're dining alone, with a loved one, or with friends, the atmosphere sets the stage for a wonderful evening.
The staff at this cafe also deserves praise. They were attentive, courteous, and knowledgeable about their menu. Their recommendations were spot on, and they went out of their way to ensure that my dining experience was enjoyable from start to finish.
In summary, if you're a steak enthusiast or simply someone who appreciates outstanding cuisine, this cafe in Orlando is a must-visit. The juicy and heavenly steak I enjoyed was just the tip of the iceberg in terms of the culinary delights this place has to offer. I left with a satisfied appetite and a desire to return for more of their exquisite dishes."

Read moreWell, I always pass by this restaurant and never saw them busy, it made me wonder why, but my friend insisted to give a try. The lady at register was nice, menus wise a bit expensive to add a thing or two to your plate, but hey, I’m Brazilian and I stand by my culinary, it must be good right. I ordered a “medium” picanha with rice and beans, the steak was pale in color, rice a bit cold, and the beans not much of difference, not impressed at all, I can make it 10x better at home. The worse was not the food, but the server named Daniela, when she came with our food I simply asked about the doneness of the steak and with a rude atitude she replied “I don’t know”, 3 mins later she came with our second steak and simply told me “oh, you both ordered the same”, with atitude again, not a smile, or even care to figured out my concerns. Then my friend asked her if we could order a side of beans for my daughter, she again with a straight face quickly replied “you must order over there” than turned around and walked away. Her attitude made us feel unwelcome in this restaurant, all the attitude for a simple question about our food!? Very unprofessional! We’ve spent over $80 in food and regretted every penny. To all that don’t know our culinary, please this is not even close to the original. This was our first and last visit here. We should had try the Catina Catrina Mexican Restaurant next door, at least they were busy, which is a good...
