Discovery Church — Attraction in Pine Castle

A true Christian upright and who follows what the Bible says cannot in good conscience attend this church. They get so much money, yet they serve coffee and sweets instead of bread and water, or at least food good for you. They have great wealth. And do not steward it right. Thier teachings and even worships are short of the spirit of truth, and not based on the Bible these people who day otherwise are ignorant. Maybe if they listened to me, but alas... I attended once and had to get up after the final song because the song claimed that Jesus is literally God. John 3:16. "For God so loved the world that he sent his one and only begotten son, so that whoever believeth in him shall not perish but have eternal life." Church's like this are why so many Christians are confused. Why Muslims have so much influence today. I attempted to discuss this with the leaders as the bible has instructed me to, in an orderly fashion, and they called security to throw me out, telling me "I was a distraction." And I should leave, when I did nothing outside of the Bibles teachings, I followed 1 Corinthians 14:26-40 conduct for orderly worship. No, thier worship isn't orderly or just, andai went to correct them. They rejected me. And said schedule an appointment. I abideth in the spirit of truth. The Holy Spirit gave me those words. I pray for your forgiveness, do not attend this... Business, or you are in danger of eternal damnation.

A message to the people who told me to set up an appointment and never took any of my calls, though I did all you said. You deserve this. I condemn this "church" as they call it, as is my privilege, for thier greed and violence. I write this as taking a nap outside, and they give me haughty looks but I care not. If you claim this is the ground of God I should be able to sleep under the Magnolia. If you could without losing reputation, you'd have beaten me and thrown me away. Your kindness is shallow and fake.

You rose against me when I brought you the truth, which is God. When all I brought you was goodness. So observe. The Bible is the Truth. You speak of your own will, not of God.

And no, I'm not even remotely afraid of you, pay all the security you want. Hire men to kill me. It will not work. Because God made this promise.

There are many good churches in Central Florida which are a blessing to the congregation and the community. Discovery Church is one of those healthy churches that is worth taking the time to see if it is the right fit for you and your family. I don't say that because I am a member there. But I say it as someone who has attended various churches of different styles over the years. Discovery: Teaches strong Bible-based and Christ- Centered teaching.

Has leadership that is loving, genuine, and approachable.

Does its operations decently, transparently, and in order.

Staff has a genuine care for the salvation of the lost and for members to grow as disciples: And this is reflected from the top down through its programs for all ages including Bible studies, conferences, missions trips, Boot Camps, retreats , etc.

Works in conjuction with local and international churches and para- church ministries. So a person has plenty opportunities to get involved in various areas of ministry.

Care Ministries division include but not limited to groups on Grief, Divorce Care, Soul Care, Single Moms, PTSD, etc.

Special interest groups vary but the ones I am aware of are softball, pickle ball, motorcycles, basketball, etc. And some of the sports are played with people from the community to help foster relationships and, hopefully, lead people to Christ.

Good Bible studies, retreats, conferences and programs for kids, youth, singles, and married couples.

Once you step out of just going to the Sunday services and look and inquire and get a feel of the life of the church, you will see if it is a fit for your family or not.

This is one of those churches that is worth taking the time to inquire. Very healthy church. Keep us in prayer. It is all by God's grace and to Him is all the glory. As for me, very thankful I found it. Made lots of friends here, and it's been my lifeline in...

I have been attending Discovery Church (on and off) since I moved to Orlando in 2010. My journey and my relationship with the Holy Spirit has been quite a humbling, stregthening, and over all 'breaking me down to build me back up' experience - and I am thankful that God placed Discovery Church on my path throughout this journey. I feel very at home at Discovery. The pastors and staff are wonderfully welcoming to anyone, no matter where you are in your walk of faith. One thing that I really love and need about this Church community - is that the pastors message from the service is something that they prayed on or it was a message God told them he wanted them to share. I have attended many churches over the years, and each of them spoke to me differently during different seasons of my life. I can say that Discovery Church has been one of my absolute favorites so far ❤️. My daughter, who uses a power chair for mobility, chose to be baptized at Discovery this year. The church went above and beyond to make sure they could accommodate us, and they even let me transfer her into the baptismal tub, and be a part of physically baptizing her- It was such a blessed experience ❤️ As soon as I enter the building I can feel the holy Spirits love and joy.
